Meet Ella, the "Mayor of Reno"

Ella became suddenly paralyzed as a toddler. After days of medical tests, the cause was found to be transverse myelitis, a rare inflammation of the spinal cord. Her medical team referred the family to Shriners Children’s Northern California, where doctors had experience with this rare condition and provided the family with hope and reasons to believe Ella would live a full life. “My life is awesome, because I have the right people in my life.” ~ Ella.
