Ingredients:
500g Cream Cheese
3/4 Cup Sugar
250ml Heavy Cream
3 Large Eggs
2 Tablespoon Cake Flour (can be replaced with Self-raising flour)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice (Optional)
**Update: For a really gooey/moist center, I would recommend baking at 230 degree C for 25 minutes and the refrigerate overnight. But of course add baking time if you'd like your cake to be well done :)

GUYS A LITTLE UPDATE!! For a gooey/moist center, I would recommend baking at 230 degree C for 25 minutes and the refrigerate overnight. The result is sooo much better!
I did this and the cake didnt bake at all 😅 still very runny and not burnt. So I did what the recipe originally ask for (200C/hr) and it got baked just fine. Just thought to share the result here huhu.

Hi! Thank you for this recipe. Made it today and it was so good!! I followed all instructions and added +10mins in the oven since it wasn’t as brown after an hour. Also used 6in pan. Turned out well still! 🤍

@@ag4052 followed recipe exactly as indicated but when i used a smaller pan, i don’t pour all of the batter and made sure its only filled about 3/4 way. Always turns out the same. You’ll know when its ready if the color is burnt same as the video 🤗

Tried this recipe twice and absolutely loved it! Right amount of sweetness. I baked it in a 7 inch pan because I wanted a taller cake for 200 degrees celcius for 40 mins. Turned out soooo yummy and not over cooked! Thanks for the recipe 👍🏼

@@sarahjinji8201 hi Sarah, I used heavy cream. The brand I used is “Bulla Thickened Cream”. It has around 35% of milk fat. Try to get a heavy cream that has a high percentage of milk fat for best results 😁👍🏽
May I know the size of your oven? Mine can only fit 1 cake pan at a time so I had trouble following the recipes cooking time and temperature since my oven is small
@@jannazaib-hj00 hi Janna, mine is a 23 litre Samsung microwave oven. Mine can only fit 1 cake pan at a time too. I baked it in a 7 inch round tin for 200 degree celcius for 40mins. The top was burned nicely, and inside was not overcooked, it was just nice. Hope this helps 🙂

Hi :) What do you mean by the cake did not set? It didn't rise or it's too gooey on the inside? If it's still gooey on the inside, you can simply refrigerate overnight and it'll be good to be eaten in the morning. But if it didn't set like you said, then you've probably over-beaten your cream cheese? At least that's what I think happened. Sorry couldn't be much of a help though :(

You can find heavy cream kat kedai bahan2 bakery like Bake With Yen or Bagus. Most of the time kat supermarket pun ada jual, tgl dekat fridge section area cheese etc. Thanks dear 🥰

Hi, 8oz is about half the amount of cream cheese I used for this recipe. So maybe you should just use half of each ingredient? But then again, you cake pan should also be smaller than mine (I used an 8-inch cake pan). However I think if you want your cake to turn out good, you should use the full amount of cheese which is 2 blocks (about 17oz)

Yes, absolutely. They're essentially the same thing, only whipping cream has less fat content than heavy cream :)

Thank you! Yes you gotta wait for at least an hour before taking off the parchment paper. I took it off before chilling. Not sure if it's gonna peel off easily if you chill first though 😀
Is the parchman paper the same as wax paper?
It is not the same. Parchment paper is also called baking paper is different by texture from wax paper. Parchment is more like translucent paper while wax paper is shiny opaque paper.
Sorry I'm confused. Self raising (mentioned), cake flour (on video) and all purpose (listed) are all different. So which one is it?
It actually doesn't matter. I've used all self raising and cake flour. They all turned out good. My friend used all purpose, turned out well too
