  • Wasn't satisfied with Exile by Mathieu Bich. Double Cross in my opinion is much better. Thanks for Watching! SPOILER WARNING: If u know how to do the trick, good on u, I could care less, just don't spoil it for others who are trying to enjoy the trick.

    So many videos start too late to where they are just showing where the ink "move through the air" rather than the whole trick. Appreciated that you posted beginning to end so I could confirm my theory on its workings! Pretty solid reaction!

      Funny you mention theory cuz you can learn this on theory11.com lol. Thing is I have to try and balance between being honest about a performance while at the same time not giving a trick away for normal layman watching. That may be the reason why some magicians don't like the idea of posting full performances of tricks on RUclips, but I feel if you're trying considering whether or not to buy/perform this trick, you at least need an idea of what the trick actually looks like. Indeed a solid reaction, thanks for the comment.

      I was mostly just looking around after seeing the trick performed in another youtube video. I had a suspicion about how it was accomplished but often the video would start right before the "magic" happens which always left me wondering if I could confirm my theory. I don't practice magic but I have to admit after watching some of these youtube street magicians I've become a lot more interested because some of the tricks are really quite clever and not immediately obvious. They have a big wow factor, so it is fun for me to sit down and try to see if I can "figure it out" by watching it a few times without actually having illusion/sleight of hand training on any level. Theory11.com looks like a very interesting site! I'm not sure I am qualified though as I'm just starting to be interested haha!

      Sean MacGugan it all starts with having an interest in solving magic tricks that you don’t understand right away 👌🏻☺️

    Nice. Here's a tip: if you have trouble getting the mark off don't fumble or keep trying. Just adjust the patter, "There are two types of sharing; sharing of things like you give something to someone but you no longer have it - like if I gave you all my money, you'd be happy but I would have any money. The other type of sharing is my favorite, sharing experiences, like information, thoughts or time. Even though I still have it, you now have it too."
    The thing is the discomfort of waiting in an awkward position or when attention is on you is not something spectators are used to - so it's better to adjust the presentation even if the trick suffers because the overall effect will be better. (And I think with the patter I gave the trick doesn't suffer either - it's a cool message.)
    Hope that's useful :D

    Nice presentation. I used to use this when doing bar magic, and smoking was still allowed everywhere. There were always ashtrays around, and cigarette ash was used instead of a marker.

    • @KitoChee
      @KitoChee  4 года назад +1

      This is def a nice modern version of ashes to palm. Especially if you're a non-smoker and/or you need something that has David Blaine reaction potential. lol

    Hi, are there any alternatives to the putty? It tends not to stick well especially when my hands have a little moisture on them. Thanks!

      @KitoChee  6 лет назад +1

      Make sure your hands are dry and every so often, and change it every so often so it'll work better.

    Hey I know how the trick is done by the way I have one, how do you replace the inc cartridge I lost my instructional slip ? Aren't you supposed to use a paper clip or something ?

    • @KitoChee
      @KitoChee  8 лет назад +2

      I'm not sure where you got the trick, but I got mine through theory 11, they don't provide refills, but they provide a link to direct you to get replacement parts. I'd say just to go MagicSmith to find the refill ink u need.

    • @KitoChee
      @KitoChee  7 лет назад

      It really depends how much u do the trick or how well u take care of it. I still haven't had to refill anything yet.

      Arun Kumar UF No, but you can learn/purchase the trick on Theory 11

  • @michaeldickson36

    you can hold the pen cap in your mouth so that when you take it to recap the pen you can secretly we the tips of your fingers in your mouth, it will help the ink to come off

    Will this work well if your palms or the spectator’s are slightly moist?

    • @KitoChee
      @KitoChee  6 лет назад +1

      the X may be a bit smeared, but otherwise, they will still get the idea of the trick. The main downside of this trick is that you are not always going to end up with a perfect X on their hand as sometimes either the ink ends up on their finger from making a fist with their hand, or their hand is moist like you mentioned. To allow some slight accommodation, I emphasize about the ink rather than the exact x itself, that way they still get the idea and don't question too much why it isn't perfect on their hand

    • @KitoChee
      @KitoChee  4 года назад +2

      Kevin Keeper Dan white had the same problem too when he performed it to the Roots. That’s not the point of the trick, in the end long as you get most of it off, and you make them believe the ink transfers onto their hand, that’s all they care about. Thanks for watching.

      it might be a good place for flashy visual magic definitely not the place for effects with a build up or mentalism.
