Indiana resident here and i couldn’t agree more with your assessment of our crappy roads. When i travel south to florida it amazes how nice the roads and rest areas are in the southern states.
Oh darn...I was looking at houses there so we can become snowbirds...the houses there are so cheap! Now I know why. Does anyone know of some really good retirement states, where home prices are still affordable?
Indiana & NY roads are the Worse!! But they don’t seem to care bc they don’t fix them I truly hope y’all are able to keep your channel going as well as all the other things you do
Congratulations on finishing the rally challenge. We couldn't watch the rally final, the photography and sound was deplorable. Awesome job at doing what we wouldn't be able to do. Now to move on to your next episode.
We just took that same route we were at morryde and staying at Indian lake before we head to camp Carlson (then macdill for the winter). The roads were crazy. And we have independent suspension.
Michigan has some terrible roads too! We use to keep our liquor bottles in an overhead cabinet until one time they fell out on our travel day. That was terrible!
Wow. That missing man table made me tear up. I wish y'all well. With you're future endeavors. I hope you keep the channel going. Yall were the first channel i started following on RUclips.
That is one of my surprises when I started traveling. Bad roads in this country. I had no idea. South Carolina is bad and so is Arkansas. Even though there are some beautiful sections of this state, they have bad roads. Even the interstates are terrible in some states. Unbelievable! I cringe when I don’t see one in time and it just shakes everything to the bone.
We just got back to Alabama from a trio to U.P. Michigan, New York. Going up, the Plan was to go up to Elkhart, Bremen, and shipshewana. Aftr the road disaster shake down of Indianapolis, I told my wife she would have to drag my cold dead body back through Indiana. SO, we came back through Ohio and saw the Christmas Story house and down through Kentucky to get home....❤ 1000% agree with your assessment of Indiana Roads ( or lack thereof )
OK you two, I want to see you turn that new home into the best "Mooch Docking" place for all us that are still on the road !!! You got lots of work ahead of you, we want a exciting hang out!! Safe travels to the new place.
First, sorry to see y'all coming off the road. Second, sorry for the roads here in IN. We live NE of Indy and go to OH for horse shows. I drive 40 miles out of the way on 2 lane roads to get on I70 in OH instead of being on the last 50 miles of I70 in IN. BTW, I know y'all are involved with Our Everyday Getaway, Chris and Katrina are friends of ours and our ranch was their first mooch docking place when they went full time. Will miss your videos.
Sadly, roads are awful all around the country. We've stayed at Indian Lakes several times and have never seen the Missing Man Table. Thank you for showing that. We'll be there a couple times in the next 2 months and will certainly look for it. This is one of our favorite TT parks.
Wow, last two travel days. I can't imagine how it feels. All the roads in the US are horrible. I swear after every travel day, we need to pick up stuff. Normally it's stuff form our closet floor. We hate it. And always be careful opening cabinet doors! LOL!! Good luck guys! --Jen
Well we enjoyed watching the Waggoners and will miss you when you get off the road. It's been fun and thank you for remembering Veterans. Signed two veterans, Bob and Janie. We met you at Buc-ee's in Texas just south of the Motorspeedway off I-35W. We were living in Denton TX at the time and have since relocated to TN. God Speed and enjoy that Grand.
I totally agree about Indiana Roads I am from Indiana and whenever I go back to visit, I get reminded again. fortunately I do not go back much any more Enjoyed your Video Guys. Really Like you. !!!
Wow we have had to put things make together on travel days but nothing like that. Can you share what campground the missing man’s table was at? Gave me chills. Happy for you and all the time you will get with your granddaughter.
We hate driving I-65. Last time we took I-69 through to Nashville and the road was good. That big bump was just a taste of the ALCAN roads we went on to Alaska.
What kind of wallpaper looks so nice and peels off so easily? I need to know, please! Best wishes for your new adventures. They will be filled with "grand" adventures and lots of love!👶
Hi from the Bimber's, I agree Indiana rds are bad. We just traveled in NY only s 2 hour trip and had more damage than the 8 hours it took us to get to Goshen In. God Bless you in your future endeavors.
We hate Indiana Roads. BTW - please don't say this is the final time camping. We all know and support your next phase in life, but you guys will definately be back camping at some point in the future. Don't sell the TT membership, you can put your dues on hold for a period. You will definitely want to take the grand babies out for camping. Someone has to teach the next generation the joys of camping! Love you guys! All the Best! Nick
Wow! I can’t believe the roads in Indiana did that much damage. That’s crazy! Glad Scout is ok! I saw a guy in California from the fire he escaped the fire with his bearded dragon. Seems like Scout is very popular. Your silver wear drawer the spoons were really moved there. Did take you long to put it all back? I can’t believe it’s time for you to already be in Alabama. And you selling your Rv and Truck. I wish you luck on selling them. I’m going to miss you and I already started to cry as Leslie took the backlash down. I even cried at the missing man table. That was sad. I loved it. And the explanation of it made me cry. It was good. Love you both and see you both on Rv Unplugged. See you soon! Travel safe. Love you both! 🤗😘
@@WaywardWaggs Oh wow! Congratulations! On moving into your new house! And getting the truck and Rv sold! That was fast getting from Rv Unplugged to where you are. Can’t wait to see your vehicle you’ll be driving. I would love to see your house too but no hurries or worries I’m excited you both! Sorry you didn’t win the $25.00. But the money that Jack and Shelby won is going to a great cause. You all dud great! Did you ever finish that puzzle? I watched the Rv Unplugged videos. After party too! You take care ok! Hopefully you’ll have a video out Sunday. Love you both and say hi to Scout! Love you see you soon! ❤️❤️ ❤️
I live in Indianapolis. When I have to go up to Elkhart I travel take US31. Because of were I live I get of 31 at 116th street and head west to Michigan than down Michigan to 86th street and home. If I have to service a customer on the east side I take 65/70 through the city. For the west side I get on 465 from 71st street or 56th street. I avoid the 465 east/west to 465 north/south curves as mush as possible.
There was a different feel and look to this video. Still enjoyed it but somber. I think I understand your frame of mind...it's kinda like us when we have been away for a while. We love coming home to our house & garage...our own bed etc. I know we will love the road, I did when I was trucking....but when we have to return, I'm sure it will be bitter sweet. Thank you for explaining the missing man table....I'm gonna find out if our Armed forces have something like this. It's very important reminder.
Thanks Rob. Coming off of the road is definitely emotional. We lived traveling and wouldn't trade it for anything. We may be back on the road someday though.
And they charge tolls for these roads! Every gallon of fuel sold is taxed and part of that tax is meant for road maintenance and improvements…. our road system is a disgrace.
The roads you mentioned are federal highways. It isn't the state roads. It's the federal. I live in Indiana and we have no issues with state roads and highways when we pull our trailer. But federal roads are a different story. 70 is horrible. Slam the federal government that wastes our tax dollars and spend them on everything but what would actually benefit the taxpayers. State of Indiana doesn't control 65, 465, 69, 70 or 74
Indiana Department of Transportation (IDOT) is responsible for all maintenance of federal interstates, U.S. highways, and state roads in Indiana per the IDOT website.
@gtibbot I guess my response would be if the federal government pays for the highway maintenance, the state can't do work the feds don't appropriate money for. Wouldn't that be true?
I agree with you. Just pointing we don't have a federal highway department that maintains the roads. As a matter of fact, I live in Indiana and the roads are terrible. We have a motorhome, my wife and I always comment that it seems other states have better roads

The Missing Man Table at the end was very moving. I never understood it's full meaning until now. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you - it's our pleasure. A lot of people don't know its full meaning, so we thought we'd take the opportunity to explain it 😊
Thank you for explaining the missing man’s table. Very sombering.

Indiana resident I totally agree !
😆. Beautiful state, terrible roads
The toilet brush is always causing us issues!! 😂 But man that really shook up all the kitchenware !!
🤣
We just took that same route we were at morryde and staying at Indian lake before we head to camp Carlson (then macdill for the winter). The roads were crazy. And we have independent suspension.
I wish we would have had independent suspension. That would have really helped.
You can find those clips at any walmart shopping cart.

We used to live in Indiana. We are now full time RVers and we left there because of the crappy roads!

The wost was for us Interstate 75 going into Tennessee. Wow I have never been over such a mess as that highway

And thanks for sharing about the missing man table. We have one permanently set up at our DAV building. People often ask what it's for.
Thankfully though things were strewn around the 5th wheel Scout was Unharmed!
That’s a big rig!!!
Might want to check your leaf springs after that ride.

Ohio to Colorado trip and Indiana roads were the worst.
The only way to combat problem is to use the Morride independent suspension.Unfortunately it's very expensive along with the gen y pin box
