Nice in-depth demo. I also appreciate that you kept the tone clean - the next review I’ve queued up is by Pedal Partners and I know they’re going to go full-on fuzzed-out shoegaze … which is nice too, but variety is good.
I agree. I acknowledge their different concept and respect the hustle a lot, but I find everything sounds exactly the same on their videos, which feel more like video essays than straight-to-the-point reviews :(
Many stereo in/out pedals allow for reprocessing. That is, plug into one channel, and take its output as a feed to the input of the other channel. In correspondence with the programmer of the Line 6 Echo Park, I learned that its "stereo" implementation took a common input, processed it and then *distributed* two different versions to the two outputs. So whatever you set channel A to would also show up a bit at the B output. If I set the pedal to reverse delay, and the mix to all-wet, there would be reverse delay repeats at *both* outputs. Now, if I feed A's output to the B input, I'm re-reversing the repeats, which makes them forward, rather than reverse. BUT, the B output will now have both the re-reversed repeats PLUS the original reversed repeats that normally show up in the "other" channel. And if that wasn't enough, keep in mind that the B output will also find its way into the A mix, and back to the B input. The end result is this engaging combination of forwards and backwards repeats at different delay times, mixed together. Not *quite* reverse-delay-plus-reverb, but darn close and worth a try, all for the price of a patch cord.
I bought the R1 reverb and first plugged it in mono. I was highly disappointed... Then I switched to stereo and BOOM 💥... Life was created. Some pedals just shine in stereo. This is one of them. The R1 is great for soundscaping too.

Pedal partners are awesome
That keyboard melody at 9:40 is gorgeous. You should develop that.
The pastel color of that Strat matches perfectly with the aged maple neck; also solid piano intro!
Excellent demo, Joe! Perfect! Congratulations!
Loved your compositions on the piano! Soulful and mysterious.
Yeah just my thoughts - im gonna try it out on my Moog synths.....,-
Plucked sounds, like an EP or finger picked guitar, seem to go very well with this pedal. Nice demo!
Want need must. I didn’t fully get the R-1 until I started using it with external moog gear. It’s heaven.
That is just so beautiful sounding it's really impressive.
You need to do more keys based demos. Shit was gorgeous.
Very cool. I wonder with the guitar if it'd sound better with a compressor after the lore pedal?? Just a thought.
Excellent demo. Seems like a compact Microcosm kind of pedal.
Let's be real, the star of this video is the red whurli ❤️❤️❤️
Very good demonstration. I'm keen on a purchase.
Just ordered one!
WA needs to make a stereo version of this pedal.
Holy MamaFak ! That pgm. 2 shimmer used on a Moog Grandmother .... this is sooo otherworldly .......
What kind of monster plugs a right angle cable into a Strat jack
Sometimes, yes, if the decay is too bright. Imo, Keeley ECCOS emulates a really nice tape flange shimmer, among other things.

The reverb tone sounds very similar to the avalanche run. Cool pedal, but i can only see it being used for textures and such
