YOu did it !!! Thanks for upload videos screenprintin in action!!! I think that's good because probably most of your subscribers are screenprinters and they like see your videos of screenprinting. I'm one of them! haha Greetings from spain!
What distance of off contact do you think is ideal for printing on vinyl? Those stickers look great! I’m going to recess my hinges so that I have 1/8”.
So I just set up a screen with photo emulsion to print on vinyl. It's a polyester screen 110 holes per inch. Will the solvent ink and everything here work printing on vinyl?
Can you do a video on your screen printer setup. Looks like you just screwed two hinges to a table then attached your screen. My question would be, how would your screen lay flush to the table when those hinges would raise it up?
You dont want your screen totally flat on your pallet. You need some off contact. The hindes have a small off contact naturally with the clamp height and if you notice the small piece of wood at the bottom of my pallet is to hold the other side of the screen up that same height too.
Do a video on how thermals are made, I payed 10$ for 200 and I was wondering why they are so cheap lol, how easy is the process and do they just use a regular printer?
I actually have the same ink in my shop, and tried printing some stickers on vinyl. I let them dry for a couple days, but the ink can be scratched off with a fingernail. Is is the type of vinyl? Or do I need to step up to a UV ink to fix this?
Hello maybe you came help me . I paint my eggshell stickers backgrounds with spray paint. Then I put a stencil and spray paint my design on top. But I want to explore Doing screen printing on top of my spray painted background. How would you do it?
what's up man. I tried to print last night doing everything exactly but my stickers didn't come out to smooth. some were a little lumpy with holes and some were over inked..do you know what the problem is?
how many times did you push or pull the squeege? Notice he said he did a second push because its the first print. Tshirt printing you need a few passes because of how much ink the material absorbs. Vinyl it sits on the surface so once should be fine. Also possibly you didn't mix it enough to be consistent.
i just did my first try on printing with solvent ink. it went terrible the ink was very thing and liquidy so it went through my screen right away. do you have any advice on what could had gone wrong. one of the things i probably did wrong was adding too much retarder/thinner. and too much ink idk. also it stinks so I'm a little afraid of trying it again.
I had someone do them for me in town here and they turned out pretty good, but they were super expensive. I want to do them myself. How can I send a file to you to see if you can do them that way on a press?

can you do more screen printing videos? Nice video!
What do you use to clean your screen after printing? and how long after printing do you have before you need to clean it? thanks!

Hi, what kind of transparency paper do you use? Do you print it yourself?
I want to try to use this on Naugahyde, would this be the best way to do it?
Nice video. Interesting you are using a hinge set up as before i remember you had a full screen printing set up
Still have that press, but thats overkill for just some flat stock prints

Where is a reliable source to buy the vinyl for cheap? How much does it normally cost?
Tails Casual Outfitters eggshell vinyl can be purchased from multiple vendors on alibaba
what kind of vinyl are you using? can I use the Avery stuff that I use for window lettering? Thanks

Nice. Been making stickers lately
I know his video is older but from now in days what's the best ink you'd recommend for printing on some vinyl

Hey where did you get those made ? Thanks
glad to see I'm not the only person who gets the sh!t everywhere.

+Jake Schillings must be the type of vinyl. I have had the same results on some cheap vinyl.
what inks do you use now?
Does the ink stay on well when applicating the vinyl, stretching and all? And Can it be heated?
Yes it will strech and form with the stickers. It is a chemcial bond so they are one and the same. Never tried heating them

You can use these same methods for eggshells
Thank you what ink is it?
Plastisol?

Is the template made with a vinyl cutter? What brand and model do you have?
I'd bet big bucks that that is emulsion and not a vinyl cut template.
Can you do a video of how you clean up after printing with inktech solvent inks?
lots of mineral spirits and normal washout procedure.
You really don't need to use 230 mesh do you? Or do you think the 195 could be ok too?
You should be ok with 195 with lower mesh counts the thin ink has a much better chance of spidering out
I am new to making stickers and does all vinyl have an adhesive backing
no it doesn't. You have to check details when you buy.....but you probably found that out in the last two years :-p
Get yourself a Copam brand vinyl plotter. you will fucking love it!!!!
set up video?
nice video very helpful
legend
Can I do this on Heat transfer vinyl?
Can someone link me the press?

***** Oh shoot, I though you printed them on Sunday, I thought I was getting the on friday :(
reck graffiti No I ship on fridays
Great video! Do you possibly have a video on multi-color stickers?
Yes I will be making one about that when I have my next multi color job.
Awesome! I cant wait! I've done single color stickers for a while now, but never tried multi colored ones.
I had some good luck with my first run with multi color it wasnt that tough thankfully
I had someone do them for me in town here and they turned out pretty good, but they were super expensive. I want to do them myself. How can I send a file to you to see if you can do them that way on a press?
Yeah sometimes the price gets up there, but hit me up at mistersive@aol.com and we can chat
Hello sir which type of inks should for screen printing for photoluminescent vinyl.. for exit and emergency exit signage
Vnu Vnu I think solvent ink will work best
@@S1VE can you please send me an link or sample of product...

@@S1VE thank you let me check

Would this be a similar mixture to print on leather?
I would think that it would hold up on leather, but I can't say that for sure. I would look around for what inks/ dyes are typically used.
Also, did you just mix the the thinner with plastisol ink for the vinyl?
I rarely thin plastisols
I can't find solvent inks on screenprinting.com. Am I crazy? Or are they not on there anymore?
+Kyle Pounders they stopped supplying them, I moved to mclogan.com and www.davisint.com/s-154-inktech-solvent-inks.aspx
does this work on eggshell stickers?
Yessir
does anyone know a video where it shows how to do a 2nd color?
Teddy Phoenix you could just adapt a multi color T-shirt screen print process with this one and you will be good to go
Why is solvent based air dry ink so difficult to find
Expensive to manufacture and with digital printing taking the majority of adhesive printing it is not worth it to stock stuff like these nazdar inks.
what are the vinyl sheets called and where can i order them?
+Nando Rodriguez I print on these: sive.bigcartel.com/product/3-x4-white-sive-shell-blanks
Thanks boss I appreciate it
Sure thing
Its Nylon solvent ink?
no, it will say solvent explicitly
What mesh number did you use?
200 or greater
Gang
Can the thinner be just paint thinner?
Not with solvent ink, you are going to want to stick with the formula recommended.
@@S1VE Would Lacquer thinner works? I want to try some sample, but the website only ships with gallon for ~$70. I can't find good thinner otherwise.
@@gregthegreatofficial You would have to look into the active chemicals in both. maybe try and contact the manufacturer for a sample
@@S1VE Hey thanks for the quick response. Do you happen to know what chemicals I should be looking for?
@@gregthegreatofficial I do not, I just went with the recommended one from the ink supplier
how to clean the screen, when use vinyl ink
Solvents!!
i mean how to clean the screen, water spray passible?
@@zeuscervas8368 yeah just check that it won’t eat through the plastic
@@S1VE thanks man! 🤝
what is the name of this ink

doubt you'd have an issue.
