Michel, what you said about Mimi’s funeral made me sob. I lost my Mum 8 months ago and by far one of the hardest parts has been seeing how truly heartbroken my Dad is without her. They were teenage sweethearts, married before they were 20 and spent 54 years together before my Mum’s life was taken just when they should’ve been starting to enjoy their retirement. I’ve been married twice and never had the kind of love they, or you & Jordy have. In my grief I have been looking at all I’ve lost, it’s easy to be selfish during those times. But my Dad lost his soul mate, his best friend and truly the love of his life and as heartbreaking as that it, it’s also so beautiful that they had that love story, and I got to see it every single day. Thank you for helping me appreciate how lucky I really am ❤ xx
