Agree! It's part of her charm! She gets breathless with excitement. And entire careers have been built on a breathy voice. Marilyn Monroe, for instance, though she was breathy in a different way.

I personally think hearing you out of breath is an endearing quality to your videos. Especially when you were pregnant because pregnancy is just like that. It’s very authentic and relatable to hear you breathing in your videos- and MaCenna being authentic and relatable is why so many of us love you. Don’t be self conscious of it!!

French macarons (pronounced "mack-ah-ROHN") are sweet little sandwich cookies you got and coconut macaroons ("mack-ah-ROON") are little “haystack” shaped cookies. Love both of them 😋 Happy anniversary to you and Romeo and much love to you both 💙💙
Yup! I try not to be fussy about mispronunciations, but when the word is something different it's useful to point it out. Another mistake I constantly hear is saying "fils" as if it were "fee", which is the sound for the word "fille." Fils is son, and fille is daughter, so saying it wrong makes a difference. (fils rhymes with Greece).
@@julieglobal I know. I studied French and have done some French baking and for some reason it kind of makes me cringe when those two are mispronounced. They’re two different things. I hope Makenna isn’t offended bc I love her 🙏🏼
I've got to tell you; I'm a little bit shocked rn. I thought for sure that someone who is as detail oriented and who loves French things as much as Makenna does would know the difference between a simple coconut macaroon vs a fine French macaron. Actually, I don't believe it. She's definitely trolling us.
@@staind.raindrop it's an easy/common mistake, especially if you are used to saying "macaroon" long before you've heard of macaron. Most people default to the familiar. The solution is just more macarons! Take 2 macarons with tea every day. If "macaron" still does not slip off the tongue, switch to champagne.

Oh my goodness! That last shot of Cade playing with Romeo's hat made me cry. Our granddaughter was due the very same day Cade was due. She was born on the day before Cade but she does the very same thing with Papa's hat!!! Why it made me cry.... I was just diagnosed with Cancer two weeks ago and have already had tests done, surgery and started chemo. Our grandkids and they're mom and dad have all had colds and we couldn't be around them, so I cried hard at seeing that shot! I miss our babies so much!!!

I noticed your gutters were full of leaves. I thought I mention it, wasn’t sure if you knew it. Coming from the Midwest, backed up gutters from leaves can cause issues.
Saw that when you did an above shot from over the patio yesterday. I hope you don’t take this as being negative, cause I’m not meaning it that way. I just remembered years ago our issues from our leaves we didn’t know were in the gutters. 🤦🏻♀️

Oh my, I didn’t realize editing was so time consuming. I do know you are a perfectionist. I love the patio make over. ~ I was watching a French tv show. In an outdoor scene, there was furniture just like your new patio day bed!

Please don’t water yourself down due to silly comments. We love your raw and authentic self. Just as you show “behind the scenes” of your videos, you should show the level of exhaustion you endure from it all as well! It’s so important to prove to those that no job is an easy job. Hard work comes with a price. I also love how you show ways to relax and recollect after all the tasks you accomplished or are taking a break from. You are human, and that is a very beautiful thing. I love your content, you’re one of my biggest role models ❤

I think it's the mics people use now. I've seen a couple of other YTers I watch get comments about them breathing. Makes me laugh. Do the commenters want them to not breathe? 😂 I think you'd sometimes hear the breath of anyone who wears a sensitive mic fastened that close to their mouth. And we do all have little quirks... I had to do some voice work once and when I listened to myself, after a couple of days I realized I had this annoying little catch in my breath going on every few sentences. I'm a fast talker and I talk a lot so I'd get going and just sort of forget to breathe and have a little gaspy sound. It was completely unconscious and nobody had ever pointed it out to me! Took me awhile to break that!

Your porch turned out beautifully! I was thinking the corner of pots across from the kitchen door would perhaps look nice if you put a small tree in the larger pot (not a birdbath). A beautiful boxwood pyramid or evergreen of some sort would be a nice lasting green feature.
I love this small tree idea! Better than birds pooping everywhere. What about a dwarf like. You already have the lemon in the backyard. A lime (fruit & leaves) would be lovely to use in your cooking.

My sister and I have been working on a project at her house for a few weeks. Every time we get done visiting or after taking a break, we say "Ok", as in "ok let's get back to work." I didn't know she did that too. The first time we did it at the same time, we cracked up! 😅
