A long time patient of mine died. The lady we thought was his wife made arrangements for his funeral with All the bells and whistles. On the day I was signing out his body to the Funeral Home his ACTUAL wife arrived, with marriage license in hand and refused to let us release the body despite the arrangements made by his girlfriend of 15 years. He had left his wife for the girlfriend but never got a divorce. He ended up being buried by the county in a wood box. Be warned!
😂
Dude deserves that burial for being too dumb to get a divorce for 15 years
He had FIFTEEN YEARS to get the divorce papers in order. Hope the girlfriend was able to get refunds ⚰️💸💸💸👀😬🤣🤣🤣
... And he was promising the gf he was going to divorce his wife any day now right up until the end!😂😂😂
Sheeeesh 😭
the ER is not the worst place for this to happen. Saves a couple of ambulance rides.

Cheating is also a medical concern. so I believe as a medical Professional...he should even be obligated to inform the wife of his philandering.

True but I am curious if they can legally do something like that otherwise he could have grounds to sue the hospital
@@youyo2205but what if there was an emergency where the patient couldn't advocate for themselves? If he's legally married, then the wife would have to be informed about the situation rather than the girlfriend
So he'll be paying them twice one for the current situation and a second time for when his wife gets him. Lol
He can't really see if his wife kills him in the middle of the ER @@youyo2205

"He said to tell you he isn't here."
No point in being in the E.R. His wife is gonna kill him anyways
He should be in the ER then. Technically the nurse is making for more for himself.
It's perfect. They can just revive him to deal with his shit.
Atleast they’ll have the doctor call the time of death
@@LillianBartlesby lmaooo
Take him directly to the morgue 😂
I've actually been in this situation before as a nurse and it really sucks. Do not ask us to deal with the messes you have made in your own life
Then as a nurse you know that even though it sucks, if a patient specifically says that someone isn’t permitted to know they are a patient, then you legally cannot tell that other person that the patient is even in that hospital….no matter who it is. 😮 😔
After processing dating these people I realize that they project- they think that because they lie all the time that other people also do the same thing. They are genuinely shocked when I did what I said I would do and set boundaries. Especially the family members that were involved in my abuse and rape. They think everyone is a liar that is predators and prey. They pretend high self-esteem people trying to be healthy and transcendent don’t exist because we are rare. So when they meet one some are genuinely shocked. You must have just grown up around healthy people so you probably don’t know people like my family are as bad as they are trying to enslave their other family members and crap. But more people are raped by people they know than strangers.

I had a roommate when I had back surgery. He had been brought to the ER by his girlfriend when one of his penis implants broke during sex and was admitted so the old implant could be replaced. Our nurse was his wife’s best friend. He made her promise not to tell his wife about the girlfriend, and she didn’t. What she did was call his wife and tell her he was in the hospital and was going to have emergency surgery but told her to come to the hospital and not call him first. Guess who was holding his hand when wifey arrived? Awkward (I was on the other side of the curtain laughing my butt off as quietly as possible but would never he heard over them all yelling). Both women left together but both came back when the other wasn’t there .
You mean they forgave him like that?! Or did they agree to share but didn’t want to see each other? Either way sounds horrible.
What do you mean penis implants
What's a penis implant?
The nurse wasn’t breaking HIPAA by calling his wife?
@@kaleimaile Wondering that too, though usually a spouse would be notified as part of protocol. Telling the wife about the GF would be breaking patient confidentiality for sure, but just saying the husband was in the hospital is probably okay since next of kin needs to be notified one way or another.
Well he's right. He's gonna be transferred to the nearest Funeral home real soon. 😂
Sometimes I can’t believe audacity of some people. Being unfaithful and expecting strangers (who are busy AT WORK) to cover their crimes. 😂
Its a skit but if this was real they be fired pretty sure
No they would not be fired. First of all it takes A LOT for an essential worker in a commonly short staffed workplace to get fired. Second, what exactly would be the fireable offence? Hospital staff are employed to care for their patients' health, not to support their shitty lifestyles. We don't buy cigarettes or alcohol for them if they ask either.

Medical professionals are obligated to maintain your MEDICAL privacy. Personal bullshit is fair game.
No, presence in a practice is part of medical privacy.
@@SpecialBlanket if his wife is his emergency contact then they can't really turn her away.
None of the departments I've worked in were as busy as the ED but they were all pretty freaking busy. That tells me the ED is at a mind blowing level of busy so they aren't going to take their time to prevent someone else's drama. That isn't our job.
If it's a case of abuse or something sensitive like a person's safety then, hell yeah! I'll gate keep the door myself and say what I need to say to keep someone away from them. But I'm not going to lie for someone like this.
@@SpecialBlanket You're right, but in this case the patient has informed all parties of his presence - the girlfriend apparently by having her take him there, and the wife by either telling her or leaving her as the emergency contact. Past that, the patient is requesting the medical staff to aid in concealing non-medical matters which the patient has "left in plain sight", and the staff has no obligation to assist. Though arranging to make SURE it is seen is... well, that might violate hospital policy.
@@hasufinheltain1390 Except there is no such policies in a hospital. The wife is next of kin, she has right to visit her husband in hospital, she cannot be denied visit unless there is court order. Privacy from next of kin will not stand in court because of the legal relationship there. If the guy wants privacy from wife, should just get divorced.
@@Umme-45 Well, that's not true at all. There are plenty of circumstances in which even a spouse or next of kin - even someone who explicitly has medical power of attorney - can be denied access to the patient. Most often it's "I'm sorry, visiting hours are over" or "the patient has requested no visitors right now". When the patient is awake and coherent, their wishes take priority.
Now, what's complicated here is, the patient didn't say "I don't want to see my wife, do not send her to my room". That was implied, arguably, but it's not what he said. What he *said* was "tell her I'm not here". Which, as rightly pointed out, would be within his rights to some extent, though I'm not clear how granular a hospital can be about that: as far as I know they don't have a public list of current patients, but if you have sufficient other information (e.g. "I'm here to see Steve Malibu, he's supposed to be in room 502") they'll confirm. In this case, it's pretty clear she knows he is at the hospital, probably because he told her, since she is on her way there already and he knows that.
At that point, since all parties know of his presence, that's not privileged information. So at best there *might* be a hospital policy - and different hospitals have different policies - to act to prevent conflict with patients and visitors.
Perfect place for them to meet. Medical personnel are standing by 😂
and Security.
@@RabiezDeWorgen And the morgue is just around the corner 😅
Reminds me of a time I responded to a wreck (EMS) in which a truck rolled off the highway into a ditch. The male driving and female passenger were both ejected from the vehicle. Another ambulance had already taken the girl and we showed up to get the guy. I found a credit card on the ground next to the truck with the name first name Brandy. I asked the man if he knew a Brandy, he told me Brandy was "his girl", who was in the passenger seat and confirmed her last name. I told him I was putting her credit card in his jacket pocket. I assumed Brandy was his wife due to the fact he had a ring on his finger. Fast-forward 20 minutes at the trauma center, his actual wife shows up, the patient is taken immediately to get a head scan, my partner and I give his belongings to his wife, who looks through them and says, "Who the fuck is Brandy??"
Talk about an awkward day
Five minutes later,
" Security to the ER. STAT!"
That "talks too much" really pissed me off.
He was asked what his wife LOOKS like.
She looks like she talks too much. That’s a description.
Some people have the “can I speak to the manager” face.
Um, it’s the adultery that bothers me… lol
she probably does talk to much, and that’s probably why he didn’t want her there
@@johnwallacegood1181 okay... *brother.*
People really do have this audacity. Apparently during my dad’s affair he kept a picture of the girlfriend on his desk at work. Colleagues actually confronted him about how inappropriate it was and he told them to mind their own. I only learned about this recently, 10-15yr after the fact
"I am minding my own, Dave. This is a friggin' workplace, and I'm not trying to lie for your cowardly ass".
I worked with a guy that did not understand the concept of fidelity at all. He also couldn't keep his mouth closed to save his life if he had to so we, whether we wanted to or not, knew all of his business. He would have two cell phones and eventually his wife caught him and he lost the 2nd phone. After that, he started using the work cell phone. One day at work the phone buzzes. I check it because someone is probably at the gate and needs to get in. Nope, it's a full view of some random girl's downstairs area and she quickly follows up with "wait, is this Jeff's phone?" To which I simply reply "Who is Jeff?" 😂 My boss never fired him despite hating him and knowing this because we were always so short handed. He'd always blab on and on about his escapades and finally one day I had enough when he started talking about how a girl that smelled and how girl younger than 18 shouldn't smell bad down there. The dude was easily 35-40 years old. I snapped and told him to STFU and I didn't want to hear about this kind of illegal crap. I thought about reporting him to LE but I didn't have any proof other than what he said. Eventually I guess his wife had enough of him too because she left him and went out of state and he left the job to go after her. We were all relieved.
The audacity of cheaters who seem like normal, trustworthy people except for in this one area (or up until the moment that they provably aren't), is amazing. Especially when it's a parent.
Years ago, when I worked for the feds, it was pretty city ever Friday night. ALL of us went climbing and we traveled and stayed in really nice hotels. Anyway someone much have gone too far, because a guy's wife showed up. Not sure where he was, maybe hiding in the men's room. but he wasn't at his desk that everyone on the floor could swe. She was PISSED and going through his desk and tossing stuff everywhere. No one said anything. Even security didn't show up!😂😂😂
Steve is chaotic good and I love it.
"Why wouldn't you want her to know you're here?"
This feels very poly inclusive and I'm for it.
I know, I was so surprised yet happy that he didn't just assume the wife and girlfriend must not know about each other. I'm not even polyamorous (or at least not sure, and never been in a polyam relationship), it's just nice to see.
Normalize ruining cheaters reputation, make cheaters fear cheating so they don't anymore
I have seen more catfights between two girlfriends or wife and girlfriend. And the guys fought over were neither good looking nor wealthy. One guy snickered over it. We sent both of the women into his room, letting each k ow the other claimed to be the wife. Last laugh was on him.
"Oh hey let's fight with who likely did nothing wrong instead of get mad at the cheater" is such an odd logic to me, but it seems fairly common
@@weirdbookshelf49 I think it’s mostly in relationships that have the undertone of the other person isn’t a person in the relationship but an object or when the other party is infantilized/made excuses for/ hero worshiped. In all cases the Cheater isn’t seen as capable of making decisions on their own so therefore the other would be the one to blame. Those relationships also aren’t built on trust but their claim over the other person so as long as they think the person is valuable they will continue to be with the cheater.

Yep, I'll be going home, putting all his things on the front porch, and changing all the locks.
All you dumb girls laughing, saying how you'd do this that and the other thing. Consider they have a home, children & a life.
It’s so true! I love how the “affair partner” thinks she’s won such a great prize when she walks away with a now known habitual cheater that shows no respect for women, no respect for himself, is incapable of staying in a monogamous relationship and will never experience the joy of the deep and ever changing love of a long term relationship. These are the women who after marrying the men they cheated with are so surprised that somewhere down the road they get cheated on and are expected to endure it.
My father was like that. He married my mother (20, he was 28). She couldn’t have any girlfriends because my father hit on every woman he saw and all their husbands would not allow their wives to hang with my mother. When I was a year old, my mother got a phone call saying that my father’s wife was hemorrhaging in a hotel room after a botched abortion (this was 1964 before abortions were legal). Obviously this was his girlfriend. Eventually he married this girlfriend in 1971 after they had 2 children together however in the meantime he had a child with another woman whom I only found out about some 40yrs later. Towards the time he was turning 60, he started to lose it. He had a face lift, a tummy tuck, quit smoking (although it do much good- less than 5yrs later he was dead from lung cancer) and according to his wife who stuck with him for 45yrs, he was putting adds in Craig’s list (this was late 90’s at internets first dawning) for 18yr old girls.. and they responded because he had wealth. He put on thru school, another in a condo… etc.
In other words… he was an extremely disgusting man. And there are so many like him.. even his own children (he ended up having 8.. at least 7 of them think he’s horrible.)
You expect the hospital staff to be your wingman😂😂 wild
Exactly, that doctor knows he needs medical intervention inside, out & all around.
Cheaters will always get caught red-handed
As well they should!
Omg what if they cheat 10 times before
No. They really don't always get caught.
I wish that were true. Unfortunately, it's not. But they should. I'd reckon it's more often they don't get caught, it's just that repeated offenses increase the likelihood that they will. And they can't resist repeating their mistakes, which gives the victim in this more chances to catch on. It's unfortunate, but the silver lining is that their addiction to their behavior, if caught, will be the thing that gets them caught, and rightfully so.
"Yeah...I'll transfer you down to the morgue...you'll end up there anyways when the wife and the girlfriend find out about each other."
That's how it should be but seems like more often both men and women blame the person they cheated with rather than their SO
I think that most cheaters get caught not because people are good sleuths, but because they are terrible liars
Sometimes people want to get caught, tbh. It's the same self-destructive or self-sabotaging tendency that has some people cheating within relationships in the first place. That's not why everyone who cheats does it, but in some cases.
He wanders the earth righting the wrongs

You're the real one for this
Men should get their affairs in order instead of relying on the hospital staff to get entangled in their personal problems. We are obligated by law to go by what or who is legal. The girlfriend doesn't have a legal leg to stand on but the wife is legally the next of kin and can make legal decisions on his behalf. This happened to a pt that was in ICU on a ventilator. Even though the guy was estranged from the wife, they were never divorced so the wife held all the cards and barred the girlfriend from seeing him.
Happens quite often with all different family and friends. The legal spouse has the say over everyone else's chances of visiting sedated patients, however if the patient is alert and oriented they have the right to choose.

I’m not an ER nurse, but when patients ask me to lie for them, I IMMEDIATELY want to tell the doctor EXACTLY what they said, WORD FOR WORD!
Sometimes patients are just stupid. Sometimes they think
We’re stupid.
Either way, I ain’t lying for y’all.
NOPE!
I don't think the patients wanted you to lie to the doctor, even if the patient had ten girlfriends, he'd want the doctor to know
Lying to the doctor is basically never a good idea. But in situations where the lie is less scummy and more self-protective, it's probably worth it to figure out how to communicate what the doctor needs to know while shielding the patient's safety and ensuring their quality of care doesn't tank.
(Like for instance, because the doctor found out the patient is trans and now won't even set their broken bone or prescribe them an antibiotic because "I'm not comfortable/qualified to provide *that kind* of healthcare!" ... Or because the patient could be pregnant/can't tell you when their last period was, and they need a medical treatment that can cause pregnancy loss [and Roe v. Wade has been overturned so a ton of doctors and hospitals now refuse to do any treatment that can cause miscarriage because they're afraid of getting arrested or sued for "performing abortions"].)
Thankfully he's in the ER already.... 😅😂
Nothing pisses me off than people expecting me to be willing to participate in their dysfunctional relationships

Refreshing. Nobody considers the physical and mental health of the wife in this scenario. Her life matters, and his selfish indiscretion puts her and her children at risk on several fronts.

Well no. A patient has the right to refuse any and all visitors. This is just a fun scenario, or wishful thinking. Legally, he would be in big trouble for allowing a visitor who he explicitly said he didn't want to see. Also, they may be estranged.

Feels a little sociopathic not to care about her feelings and just think " it's funny, he's outing himself and didn't even realize it" when the wife is having to hear all of this much later, at a time she can no longer leave him without feeling guilty. And she can never get true closure cuz he doesn't remember enough to tell her. So she has to come to terms with it alone, no reassurance from her husband that they never mattered, or that he loved her the most and that's why he stayed, etc. She just has to suffer, never knowing the full story, feeling obligated to keep caring for him or keep coming to see him cuz he's got dementia and won't understand if she just stops. Knowing she didn't at the time know anything about the affairs. Heartbroken that the man she loved for maybe 40+ years might have never been faithful to her and she will never know when it started or why
Sounds like my worst nightmare tbh
@@nicoledoubleyou “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive”! Hurts one party but the other has severe dementia & can be put in nursing home for it. Karma baby!
God bless healthcare and the shit we go through
I have a relative in the medical field who treated a widow with an STD. She was diagnosed after her husband and sole sexual partner passed away. She was deeply hurt and I don't think ever got closure on the subject.
@@jf8200 God damn that hurt me just to read. I can't imagine how hard that would be. You go thru life completely devoted to ONE MAN EVER, loving him immensely, obviously. He dies and you're heartbroken. Can't imagine life without him. Wonder how you're going to go on, in your old age, alone now. Go to the doctor and you're hit with the news that you have an STD. You're more than just shocked, it hits you like a brick. You try to think of all the ways it could have happened. But there's only one way that's the most likely. He cheated on you. He cheated on you, and you'll never know when. Why. Where. How. For how long? Did you love her? Or were there more? How could you do this to me?
Nothing. You just have to be even more heartbroken than you were before and try to not obsess over all the questions you want answered
I just want to know if this really happened. Because if so, that means this video is even more awesome.
I am sure it happens on a fairly regular basis.
I can't speak for the specific instance in this video, but can absolutely guarantee this situation happens. Because it happened to me! Boyfriend was hospitalized and when I got there, his other/ex/on-and-off-again girlfriend was there. Crazy situation!
It does happen. I've dealt with it personally as a nurse. Don't drag us into your shit amd ask us to lie, it violates our code of ethics
I’m fairly certain this happens regularly. Hell I’m a bartender/waitress, and I’ve seen guys bring their wives in and then their girlfriends in to the same establishment on different days on regular basis. People are crazy bro
Are you really asking if cheaters go to hospitals? lol I can assure you this happens on a regular basis.
This is exactly how I’d treat my brother if he had a wife and a girlfriend.
This needs a part 2! 😂
Sounds like my ex. He juggled a wife, ex-wife, girlfriend and a side piece 😂
Sounds expensive!!
@@xo2quilt Now 2 ex wives, 1 girlfriend, and various side pieces
@@ElleCee62978 Wear a raincoat!
@@xo2quilt He’s not my problem anymore!! He’s a Brazilian who he’s cheating on’s problem now.
Plot twist, the wife is his nurse later on
I would wait until he is discharged and on his way to the parking lot. When the wife is done with him, he can wait in the ER, covid infested, waiting room all over again!
I need the part 2. Because your version will definitely be better then what I'm imagining.
The guy told him not to tell her, he never said anything about not telling his nurse buddies
He’ll be in the icu shortly
That is going to be the fastest speed run from the ER to the morgue for both him and his girlfriend as soon as his wife arrives. 🤣☠👻🤣
Mr. Malibu literally sounds like my boss. 😂
Wife: Oh look, cords for a life support machine. It would be a shame if someone tripped.
Haha, good thing he’s already in the hospital. 😂
I'd have done the same thing. Luckily the guy is in the ER, he's probably gonna need medical attention!
I've done that , only the two patients were pregnant by the same.guy and didn't know it
