- Texas Tech vs. Duke: The No. 2 Blue Devils turned it on in the final six minutes in a 69-58 win over the 12th-ranked Red Raiders at Madison Square Garden in New York. Zion Williamson led Duke with 17 points and 13 rebounds despite fouling out in the second half. R.J. Barrett added 16, while point guard Tre Jones was everywhere, racking up 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in the victory.

They gave 23 turnovers, I think they can do better than that. Defensively, they played very well though.

The refs were a bit ridiculous with all the offensive fouls especially the last one on Zion. And can we put Jack White in the starting line up please instead of Jav? He fits the starters play style better being able to stretch the floor and Jav would be better suited as a 6th man anyway with his hustle and rebounding

J Z when and where did I say that the ACC is going to be a cake walk? I know damn well it won’t be by far the best and deepest conference in America but I do expect them to finish top 3 in the ACC any less than that is unacceptable too much talent and depth to do any worse. And let’s be real here UNC had MULTIPLE advantages in their game aganist Gonzaga that Duke did not have. 1. Duke was playing off of a back to back to back fresh off of playing a very physical and veteran Auburn team. 2. Duke did not have home court advantage like UNC they were playing in a small ass gym that I’ve seen High Schools have bigger gyms before. Home court advantage helps a ton. 3. Gonzaga was fresh off of exam week and had to travel across the country the day after exams and get there the night before. 4. UNC had to shoot 55% and make 13 threes which isn’t something that’s gonna happen every game. Never mind even scoring over 100. But Duke is by far the most talented team in the ACC and isn’t any where close to their ceiling of what they could be and yet they are still absolutely destroying teams and finding ways to win even when it’s not going their way so don’t be surprised when you’re eating those words but really nobody gives a flying fuck about regular season titles the ACC champ is whoever wins the ACC tournament not who’s at the top of the standings is what people look at.
