Russian books in those days were very cheap and of good qualities too, People like us who learnt physics/ maths in '70s will miss these books for ever.
Best books to learn Physics and Maths, Since my childhood I m following Mir Publications books and today I feel so much confident that I can teach both subjects at any level, Thanks Mir Publication. But I feel regret that I don't have a copy of book named "Slavatinsky" problem book on Physics.

Indeed they are amazing books. We have many Physics problems books. Unfortunately not the one by Slavatinsky
My dad bought many of them in the 70's. I don't know how he was able to avoid being killed by the right-wing dictatorship, they even prohibited teaching set theory because they thought it was a communist theory.
