4:10 for those who don't know, beta testers have said the handling model has gone backwards towards the really bad handling from F1 22 which is why his response is so blank because he knows it's not good. Dont pre order, wait for release reviews.
i kinda have to buy each one as i have all of the f1 games, but 90 dollars is crazy, glad its at least 15 percent off for a whoping 76 dollars. Im gonna play it for 5 hour and then leave my review on steam..... hope this game gets negative reviews because for that price point i would at least a couple new features😂

Buying this game is extremely short term thinking. It’s a ‘now, now, now’ attitude, rather than taking a slight bit of pain now in not buying the game, to help get a better game in the future.

Driver Radio is a nice taken from F1 Manager, hope there is lines for the F2 Drivers and enough so they dont become repetitive
the only way this feature will be good is if there's a wide range of dialogue, if it's like 4 lines on repeat like the race engineer it'll probably get annoying
I get it, Ben, you're in the trailer, you get paid by EA and codies. But this is absolutely not an *overhaul*, they've renamed the acclaim system to be "reputation" and brought back the contact signing from 2018/19 whenever it was, while adding in tiny race objectives that could have easily been patched into every single F1 career mode. It's the exact same crap we've been given, with the same horrifically outdated game engine since f1 2015. There is no reason to buy this game, mods can make an f1 2024 career mode on an existing game. Until the game engine updates and they put actual effort into career/my team I'll play other games

4:11 That quick facial expression and mention of the handling in the beta was not encouraging. Most beta testers are saying it sucks. Hope it improves before release but expecting this game to not be ready for prime time when it comes out in May.
People should stop pre-ordering until actual gameplay has been shown. The fact that they are still putting out the game on PS4 says it all. Don’t take the word of ‘Codemaster’ groupies and remember at the end of the day it’s EA….

they have it off but dont at the same time, at least since the release of f1 22 and f1 23 with random driver errors to hitting the wall and dnf'ing or spinning out of a traction zone or spinning on kerbs at high speeds just random errors like that.
@@godzvnm7315Those have always seemed quite scripted to me. I think what OP was getting at is that if the AI tag you, you can spin out; they seem to have a level of TC that keeps them going on rails.

Wow, I just realized I found your channel 10 years ago. If I remember correctly, we didn't even have a face reveal from you at that point. It's really cool to see how far you've come from then.
I hope they have fixed the gear ratios from last game being massively different.
As the slowest cars were 8mph slower on straights, purely because they revved out and bounced off the limiter halfway down straights at 218mph.
Oh it would also be cool asf if they gave us an option to choose a tyre wear accelerator, so we can decide if tyres burst after a few laps, or last for most of a stint thus rewarding consistency.
Can’t wait to see the Career Mode!

@@godzvnm7315 Tell everyone you just used the vanilla presets without telling everyone you used the vanilla presets 🤦♂. F1 22 was indeed garbage if you used those, but some of the best handling in the series since 2018 if you used a proper setup.

Hopefully they'll update the damage system, but that will probably be a huge ask.
I expect that because unfortunately it’s EA, you deal with Pitcoin, a micro transaction currency instead of realistic monetary representation in your contracts and spending for R&D for your teams. And you’ll get unbearable low amounts to push players towards that micro transaction. So realism, immersion, and fun will most likely get thrown out the window for the sake of corporate profits. I would love to be wrong, but again, EA games

Exciting stuff for sure, but will be interesting to see if they handle the small little bugs that have been purging the game for a few years. Would be nice to see them tackle the customization of driving attire more, maybe a little more realistic approach. Loving the radio idea, maybe some unique cutscenes for different races and after race interviews?
Another thing would be to have the AI drivers feel a little less robotic. ABS and TC off for them, have them deploy ERS when it actually makes sense, making AI battles a bit more intuitive etc
ai already have abs and tcs off as they have random driver errors like spinning in traction zones or locking up into big braking zones. it just doesnt happen very often

On the one hand, I understand what you're all saying. On the other hand, it must be remembered that sales of this game in 2023 dropped by 40%. From a business point of view, it seems to me that it doesn't make much sense to sell shit in 2024. Based on this, I think they got their act together and improved this and that.

That image provided by Alpine eSports looks so goofy, all the drivers are STILL the same height and look like they're from a game back in 2015.
Generally it looks like F1 23 with these features being in menus... But I skipped 23 and have the F1 itch to scratch, so I'm praying I'm wrong.

If these changes excite you, I have good news! You dont have to wait for F124 to come out, or pay $70+. You can already play them for far cheaper, just pick up F12016 or 2019 lol

Odd numbered entires will have the story mode. So 25, 27 etc
Will these objectives be realistic or not, older games came with unachievable objectives, this will ruin the career mode
Will we get team orders to achieve these objectives
And for the secret meetings, will we get to know who retires or changes team so we can choose our team on these known facts
The AI doesn't have that crazy straight line speed like they did in F1 22 do they?
Even worse from what I hear, from the beta tests. That one guy was saying even in his fully upgraded and setup car, the AI blew past him like he was sitting still.
@@junkiexl86 You talking about Matt? Yea that was crazy lol. The general mood from the beta guys were pretty somber. It also sounds like its back to F122's handling model where unless you use a proper car setup, the handling is horrific.

I’m still having “ expired credentials “ problems. I reset my PW no less than 10 times and got nothing from F1 2023. I’m not buying anymore EA games until this is totally fixed. I didn’t get the game to play alone. If anyone has a fix please let me know

The driving model looks very 'wobbly', emulating the F14T at times, and the graphics when driving look to be the same as F1 23 entirely. I think while the improvements to driver career are solid, it may not be worth it, so I wouldn't pre-order.
It sucks, but come to your own conclusion.
