Thanks for the laugh! I heard this song on the radio years ago and I’m so glad I’ve found it again, particularly now that hubby has started drinking it!
I heard this song on the radio and laughed so hard because it sounds like it is straight out of my husband's mouth XD. Earl Grey is my favourite tea and my husband thinks it is horrible.
So funny. I heard this on the radio a month or so ago and it made me laugh so much. I made myself a cup this evening which prompted me to try to find the song to listen to again 😅
HAHAHAHAHAHA! I love this song! I also love Earl Grey, but recognize that it's not for everybody - my dad loathes it, and claims it's like trying to drink flowers, and as to what my husband says, well, I'm not sure it's suitable to type it out verbatim where children or persons of delicate sensibilities may read it :-). It's no trouble at all to keep a few different types of tea in the pantry, so whoever shows up, you can make them a drink they'll actually like, because ultimately, a cut of tea is supposed to be relaxing. (If they don't like what I'm drinking, then I just tell them about this song.)
My potential sister-in-law loves❤️ earl grey tea (I don't 😝) so I sent her a link this song, if she laughs I know our family's got a 'keeper' because she's got the ability to laugh at herself. She laughed. 😂 We're keeping her. 🫱
Each to his/her own I guess, but I don't really get why this perfume argument is a strong argument against Earl Grey - since almost all other types of flavored tea are more perfume-like, whether it's jasmine, chamomile, vanilla, ginger or any kind of fruit or berry. I like Earl Grey precisely because it's NOT perfume-ish. I like un-flavored tea too, but then I need higher quality tea.
No matter how many times I hear this song,it never fails to make me laugh. Heard it years ago one Sunday morning,so pleased to find it here.
I had ONE cup of this concoction in my life. Never again. I heard this song years later and laughed my head off. I could relate.
Ain't it just putrid! 🤢😆
@@davidbell7875 yes!!!😂

Summed up in one neat song. need we say more.
The best version 10 out of 10
Very funny and clever. It's how I feel about Earl Grey tea. Laughed when I heard this😅.
Bell tea is real tea in New Zealand, so David Bell is the perfect poster for this too!
Sums me up on what I think of earl grey tea
Love this !
Love it and love Earl Grey!
Love this.
Yep, I tried Earl Grey ONCE, and this song describes my experience perfectly 😂. Jean Luc Picard dropped a notch in my opinion!
Absolutely brilliant and so true, awful stuff.
Totally agree mate.
This is very sad :( I love Earl Grey tea. Jean-luc Picard would be disgusted if he heard this song!
Even the greatest man has his shortcomings! 🤣

My sentiment too!
Heathens! Lady Grey contains bergamot!
My sentiments exactly 😂

Not my cup of tea either!
