My hubby went through this a few years back he actually died twice in the ambulance. His was through taking an NSAID. I'm so grateful to the paramedics and hospital staff that got him through this.

Was working as triage RN in metropolitan ER. A red-faced woman came to triage room, speaking in 3 word sentences, unexpected symptoms after eating sea food & no known allergies. Triage vitals marginal, but as a few minute went by she became more SOB w/rapid breathing. I hoisted her into my rolling wheels chair & immediately pushed her back to the ER where, despite odd looks at my method of transport, she got immediate & life-saving care. Certain signs plus yrs of experience said to me, “move it!” A good decision for both of us!

I went through this from a hornet bite. It’s terrifying! I had to sign a paper for life support then after many hours and shots I finally was able to breathe again. Must carry Epi pen with me all the time. God bless her and I hope they were able to help her.
