    These guys have great stuff. I've used their old VAT-4300 In almost all my capacity tests over the years. It's been rock solid. I even shorted it out once (my fault) and was easily reparable, still kicking. I have this new one, and can't wait to test it. Great Video!

    I have 2 KG140F devices. Even though most of the settings are available in my version, I consider owning these as a necessity evil. First I have to grant location permissions, then file permissions, then when I hit “Firmware update” the software just locks up. The Bluetooth signal doesn’t even penetrate my wood floor ( on either unit when used singularly or when both are used ) I tied using several devices and OSes..eventually I had to move my tablet downstairs and use a dock with hdmi output. Many other Bluetooth tooth devices I own have absolutely no issues. By no means do I consider this device “worthless” rather its another poorly engineered device made in China.. Sincerely I hope someday this company will change my mind. I would happily pay 15 bucks more for them to engineer a better product.

      @@Roll2Videos Yea that's what i saw, but it's a pretty bold move from Junteks, we need to buy new devices to get an update on the app ? As i see, the hardware is strictly the same, only the software is different.
      Now since you got the both devices, you just have to open both devices and give us hardware differences...

    Question, if the low temp protection kicks in and disconnects the battery from the charge controller wouldn’t that fry the charge controller? I have heard many times on different solar forums not to connect the solar panels to the charge controller without a battery already connected. Thanks for the great video!

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  5 месяцев назад

      It's possible that some older charge controllers may have this issue, but newer models likely don't. It's best to check with the manufacturer.

  • @davidniquot6423
    @davidniquot6423 Год назад

    Allright, i'm near finished the script to flash KH140F firmware aka "new device" to the "old" KG140F... showing how Junteks did not create a new device but just package the same hardware in a slightly different package and sell it as a new device, preventing US, buyers of the KG140F of upgrade that where promised.
