Damn you are tech support bro!
Lol Don't forget to like and subscribe if you haven't already for additional support. Haha
Are there any options for changing the gpu?
Like mx130 to gtx 980m
No
You re good , thnx.
No problem
Can I upgrade 2nd slot with 16 gb ram. Will this laptop support 4gb inbuilt + 16gb additional ram in second slot.
Sure
@@ItsBinhRepaired But can it support 4+32 ram though.
Whatever you can fit.
I think the reason that one ram stick is soldered to the board is because it's using that stick as video memory since the intel graphics don't really have their own video memory.
I'n not sure that could be a reason, or it's to save costs and make the laptop thinner. A double ram slot would be too big in that housing.
I don't think so. Where did you hear that from?
Thx bro
Nice!
Thanks!
Where did you get a screw to mount the ssd? You mentioned using a case screw but is there a kit I can buy that works for this laptop? Thanks
This should work amzn.to/468ICyK
I found a weird plastic over my ssd whats the need for that, and is it supposed to be over the cpu or the ssd? I feel like its somewhat of a conductor
What plastic? Make a youtube video
Bro I have a question. My laptop already came with an M.2 SSD and without the hard drive so the hard drive slot was empty. I'm just wondering if I can put a SATA SSD in there for more storage? And how do I connect it to the motherboard?
Yes, if the hard drive cable is there.
@@ItsBinhRepaired unfortunately it is not there when I opened it. Can I buy it online?
And btw, the L16L2PB3 model of battery isn't available where I live. Is the L16L2PB2 compatible with this Lenovo 15IML05?
Do you have Amazon where you live?
My laptop is dead. (3-15IML05) I have already checked the battery and the charger.. both are fine… what are the checks I can do to understand whats wrong?
Cmos reset maybe
@@ItsBinhRepaired Thank you! I am looking to replace the mother board myself. My laptop has a MX130-2G GPU… is it okay if I replace it with a MX330-2G?
I'm not sure, sorry
Hey. Instead of leaving the 2.5 hard drive in the laptop unplugged, why didn’t they use it as a external drive to back up files?
Not a good idea to use a failing hard drive as a backup device. Lol
@@ItsBinhRepaired oh yh. that's true. i thought it was good
It was having issues, which is why it was replaced/upgraded
@ravvraj That's true, but then the customer would lose it.
@ravvraj they could just leave the cable attached, but they'd have to secure the other end so it doesn't rattle. A lot of models have the screws and adapter all secured inside the laptop.
can you show the drive disk, I think mine it's weird, I don't have the same cable you got there
I don't own these computers
Is there any available battery out there with higher capacity that is compatible with this device? The battery life is very disappointing. I didn't know the 8 hrs battery life they claim is the standby battery life.
Not that I know of.
Would the disassembly process be the same for the 14" model (81X700FXUS-E)?
Doesn't seem like a model number. What is the model number?
Can i put more shared memory on the integrated gpu on this through bios or is it fixed?
I think it's fixed
Whats the max ram this model can accept? I was told 12GB by the manufacturer but honestly, the rep I was speaking with didnt sound very convincing.
The max is whatever you can buy and put in the slot
do you have a link for a battery that is compatible with a Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IML05 battery L16L2PB3?
Here you go amzn.to/4029Q6y
Thanks for the vid, how do u clone data from the hard drive into the ssd? Also would any model of crucial M.2 NVME work? (P3, P5)
Here ruclips.net/video/4p5jFDzVwUw/видео.html
I'd like to keep that hard drive just incase, but i am adding a 1tb ssd p3 model. Will cloning with these instructions make it boot from the ssd?
@@bingg.dgreatesthigh yes
@@ItsBinhRepaired ah it seems like my other message was deleted, it was an article about crucial and their cloning software. Would that also work?
@@bingg.dgreatesthigh why not just use the method I showed? I don't know about the other one. Lol
hey bro, can you give the link of the SSD you bought, and I'm Turkish, for example, can you give it to any Turkish site, Amazon is paying us dearly. And one last thing :D You know it comes with 8 GB RAM as Stock, so is it reasonable to upgrade ram? it consumes a lot of ram, this feels a little insufficient to the machine, how many GB of RAM it supports, I'm thinking of buying 16 GB
If you can't use Amazon, I'm not sure where you can buy it from. 16GB RAM is good
Where’s the cpu? I recently got a intel core i5 and I want to replace the i3
You can't. It's soldered to the motherboard.
Never buy LENOVO, They UV glued the onboard DDR4 RAM and Processor. It can never de-soldering... Horrible!
Ex:- Ideapad 320-15IKB DG421 DG521 DG721 NM-B242 NM-B241
These type motherboards can't repair if you faced any issue with processor and RAM!
Why nobody address this big issue yet?
All the new stuff is heading that way sadly
WHAT IS PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE. Planned obsolescence describes the practice of designing products to break quickly or become obsolete in the short to mid-term. The general idea behind this is to encourage sales of new products and upgrades, a practice that has been banned in some countries.
