I saw Ike and Tina back in the late 60s, even at the young age of 13, I was very impressed. I honestly didn't really know who they were. But Tina stood out as someone who was going places for sure.
I love her so much. The Queen of Rock and Roll so happy to see her doing so well after what she's been through with illness. My favourite singer.

Ms. Turner's music has been in the fabric of my life as far back as I can remember. I remember being stunned at the incredible energy she had on stage. The cameras loved her and so did I. My love for her was overcomed by respect after I read her book "I Tina". To read how she rose out of the ashes of oppression and immense abuse to become the global star that she is, inspired me deeply. I realized that if she could accomplish her dreams, I could definitely accomplish mine! She deserves to have this broadway show! Thank you for posting this clip.

@@nesq4104 she is not. Shes beat cancer and is in remission. She had a kidney transplant and had some commplications but shes doing great. No reports of reoccurrence of cancer.
