Love the sets you show here. I think one more level to add is to defensive keys against them in your Same As package especially in Play Action sequences. Specifically running your pass protections with your same power pull look or zone sniffer look going across the formation. Making it so your Same As package uses different blocking schemes doesn't allow a defense to key on anyone in particular making it much more difficult.
Great job building off of the prior Wing T video and keeping it in line with what you enjoy best. A friend once said, every system works, but only if the coaches and players buy in. I think that permeates everything that you do with your platform. Keep it up
It's a video on here with Malzahn going through this play. Just the base play with no motion. In some plays he uses the same motion but he fakes a reverse. Plays later he will run the reverse. Plays later, he will fake both and throw the drag corner to X near the pylon. Born in Alabama as an Auburn fan, i'm glad Gus is at Auburn. He also runs the sweep reverse. Hands it off to the back, even pull the guards but its to protect the back and Z comes and gets the pitch. I've seen him run counter trap off of this as well. Auburn led the nation in rushing in 2013 but lost in the national title game. Its a plethora of highlight film on his running attack from that year.
Coach Mac, when you run an up tempo RPO heavy scheme, why do you prefer the gun over the pistol? Wouldn't the pistol not tip your hand as to which side is Post-Snap Read and which side is your Pre-Snap read?
Coach, I know you're a big 20 personnel guy. So do you consider yourself a big Gus Malzahn fan too? I love how he utilizes his H-Back as a FB, TE, Wing, and a receiver out of the backfield. He is also pretty creative with that position when he subs in a WR or uses them in a similar role but with different concepts/plays with motion.
Coach McKie, to be honest I haven't gotten a chance to watch a bunch of his stuff from his time at SMU. Just a few games on the internet. I am excited that he is at Arkansas now and will get some prime time game slots. From what I have watched it seems pretty similar and just as creative, if not more so (just watch the first few possessions of the SMU/TCU game from this year). When I need my football fix I am going to look for Morris's stuff when he was at Clemson. One thing I have noticed is that Morris will use (true) 11 personnel more often than Malzahn. BTW, you have a nice channel as well!
Coach Landon, I noticed Coach Morris uses more 11 personnel than Coach Malzahn as well. I also noticed, and I could be completely wrong, Coach Morris likes to throw the ball a little bit more than Coach Malzahn. I will be DVRing every Arkansas game that's on TV next year. (Never thought I'd do that.) Thank you for the complement about my channel. It means a lot.
Great video coach. I completely agree with you on coaching your system. Don't let anyone tell you their system is better than yours.
Absolutely LOVE what you do Coach Mac! Keep 'em coming!
smith john you got it coach, we will keep grinding it out
True statements coach. Real coaches will scout their opponent and put their kids in the best situation to be successful. Thanks again!

You are a wizard! Amazing stuff, thanks coach
Hope it helps
Absolutely right more than one way to skin a cat.
Love this coach

Good to hear the afternoon announcements. Ha ha ha Way to keep your stride on a 1 take video.

Kyle Landon Coach, I love Gus as well. The way he comes up with different packages each game is amazing. What are your thoughts on Chad Morris?
