I think my favourite, at least after the first listen, has to be “it was not death, for i stood up”. Mostly because I’m a sucker for manipulated vocal samples like how it starts! But I also adore the key it’s in, and the texture of the pads, and the progression it takes.

Thank you! I feel like that song was my biggest "taking a chance on a wild idea" song for the album and I am super happy with how it turned out. I like to think of it as like, what would I, an ambient synth musician, make if I was taking on the creative ethos of hyperpop. Its not in any way hyperpop, but i was very inspired by the unburdened creativity of the genre and just let myself really get weird with that one. Happy to hear it connected!
