Particularly informative - has helped me visualise and therefore understand my shoulder challenges at present. Thank you.

The visual aspect was on point, wish you gave more information. I have a full thickness tear superspinatus, partial in the infraspinatus and retracted muscle.

Best video I've seen on the subject. Better to see moving animation rather than stills

gbrown So true. Its very hard to imagine how the joint moves with the muscles attached to it, especially when you are not that familiar with the specific anatomical names.

Question: under what circumstances is it necessary to perform an operation on the rotator cuff and under what circumstances can it be limited to physiotherapy massage and training ...

I'm also suffering from this problem. Doctor told me I need surgery like this. But I don't want. So sir would you tell me is there another option without surgery for recovery?

Hi there, depending on the type of injury and the duration. Most rotator cuff injuries can be treated conservatively (without surgery)

If you have a massive torn rotator cuff and you have atrophy does the atrophy mean the tear is old?

That goodness I let it heal on its own, of course I got myself shoulder brace from an athletic store. I’ve eaten pavement many times Flo across the street from downstairs so I’m pretty know how to handle and deal with injuries haven’t broken a bone yet I’m 57 3/4, But crap I’d rather let it heal on my own and do that surgery that looks like a killer hell now - Yes yes I have the app the full version.... How about my arms fell out of socket while running my bike across the street, Damn hurt like hell
