Can you make a video about Huawei GT2 Pro? I think it will be very interesting to see how the high end of Huawei watches perform. Thanks for the hard work!
Great Test, I have this watch since 3 months and I really love it. They have new Software Update since a week and now they even have integrated a permanent SpO2 measurement feature. Maybe you want to do another Test with the new Software Version 1. 0.3.20? Also I am really looking forward to your sleep monitoring test.

I loved the style of the comparison, which is with comparisons with something accurate and not between different smartwatches. Thank you so much for this content!
Glad I came on here I purchased the Amazfit Bip U Pro 2 weeks ago and the workout heartrate was dreadful to say the least ,never went past 80-90 on my training rides and 31km an hour average speed and the heartrate just never moved, after 12km into the ride. So sent it back to Amazon. Came and saw this and purchased the Huawie watch fit instead what a difference in the readings almost as good my Garmin Strap belt. I advice you all to stay well clear of all the Amazfit products for your training purposes. Fantastic stuff.
Great video, I finally found what I was searching, please continue with these tests because they are a gem. I have an Honor band 5 now, and even if it works fine, it seems that during my bodyweight workouts (sometimes with HIIT or jump rope) it can't keep with the heart rate and sometimes lost the measurement. Do you think that the changes that Huawei/Honor have made with this new generation of smart band/watch is worth the upgrade? This Watch Fit records all the calories burned through the day (including basal metabolism) or only with the workouts? Thanks
Again another brilliant in depth review, you really do know how to put products thru their paces, helps me decide which devices to consider and which ones to ignore keep up the good work
Hi! I bought the watch fit because it did well based on your review. Now we have at least two measurements. After a week of use, I can conclude, that it was a complete garbage for me. I have a fitbit tracker and an omron blood pressure monitor with heart rate measurement and under moderate excercise, or after excercise, the watch fit was inaccurate by a huge amount. It specifically had problems with the 80-110 range, where for the watch it was like this range does not exist. If my heart rate was anything in between, the watch fit always showed 88-92. Even if I did a couple of pushups, and my heart rate was definitely more than that, it would not detect. After restart, it does read correct values for around 30 seconds, and then it locks itself again to 88-92. For some weird reason, below or above this range, the measurement seems to be ok. Fortunately I can get a full refund so does not bother me that much.
Love and appreciate your in depth reviews on all these wearables!! Thank you so much for the scientific analysis and your methods of testing (along with the potential biases that may be present!). Have you compared or tested the step counter on this watch to others? I was trying one out, and found the step counter undercounted for the majority of the time for day to day steps and was especially obvious (gross undercounting) with longer outdoor hikes (ie. an outdoor hike recorded on the watch's GPS of 9.87km - which should have actually been more around 12km, & step counter was only about 5500 total for the day & even less on the actual "details" of the hike while my phone on various apps gave me over 20,000 steps which was more consistent with my fellow hikers using an Apple Watch, Fitbit Charge 3, as well as an iphone). I was wondering if it was just me (& maybe a faulty device?) or if others found this too? I recorded 3 other hikes using the watch GPS and this gross undercounting of total steps was consistent with all of them.
Great in-dept video. A lot of effort you went through which brought detailed results. Keep up the good work! Are you willing to test out the Mi Band 5? It would be interesting to see the results considering it's such a popular device.

Great video as always. I recently asked if you could please do a heart rate and sleep accuracy test using a the Xiaomi mi band 5. Thanks! Since the Fitbit Sense didn't really do as well as I had hoped, I am still on the lookout for a successor to my Garmin Vivoactive 4s. The Huawei GT2 Pro and this Watch Fit didn't really show up on my radar so far...but this looks promising. Sadly there is no ECG on this one, but the rest looks interesting. Can you perhaps do some Outdoor tests? Jogging or similar where the watch gets shaken around a bit more? Also, a test of the GT2 Pro would be fantastic...

I have just ordered a Huawei Watch Fit based on your excellent survey since I only need it for its accurate heart-rate readings. Thank you! At the same time I am surprised you spend so much time measuring the performance of optical wrist-band devices as a means to determine different sleep levels. Surely the only possible way to do this is to record the faint electrical brain signals using the sensitive head-mounted instrument you wear? In which case it wouldn't it be better if manufacturers restricted their devices to show only the beginning and end of a sleep cycle, rather than padding the sections in between with a lot of visually impressive but completely misleading tom-foolery!
As someone who used to be a science student, your video intro reminds me of the scientific paper's summary section. Ngl it is helpful as it is brief and concise 😂
