Everyone i found out a way to download the mod you just remove the generic from the name of the .ssf file and when you put it in the data of ssf2 it will say do you want to replace hit yes and then use the booster while opening the game i hope this helps everyone who is having trouble!

However I have one issue with it, besides the move list, the links containing the files are not explained well enough for those who don't know how to install it. It would be great if there was a note attached to these files explaining how to install them

This sprite is so SMOOTH and I love it very much! (weird thing is, when I go into hyper or dark sonic, the sprite glitches and sonic would be invisible for the rest of the game.)
This is the best Sonic mod hands down we don't need another. Good job to everyone who worked on this almost every move and transformation had me stunned. Taunts are clean, the idle animations, & the secret move you have when you hit grab in the air but for some reason Hyper Sonic's wouldn't work when I was fighting Donkey Kong SSF2 Sandbox that's my only complaint though. So I had downloaded the mod and even tried to access some of the other forms. I was doing the steps correctly but for some reason could not access any of the other forms other than Super Sonic or Base Sonic. Everytime I went through the Hyper Sonic transformation sequence, (Which really brought me some hype.) it would then show an invisible Super Sonic that no character can see, including NPCs. I even tried going through Dark Sonic but it's just an invisible Base Sonic in the end. Edit: I feel that I had downloaded an older version of SSF2 since it showed it as a 32-bit version. I wish to know which version everyone uses today that allows them to have these mods on.
Small tip for those who are asking how to fix the invisible glitch and are still confused. You have to download the booter in the description, and drag that to the SSF2 application. (Also since Shadow V2 also requires some type of booter, you can't exactly use that mod with this properly AFAIK...) [EDIT] So about that Shadow V2 problem, that can actually be fixed by using the Sonic Smash Flash modpack by Nicolas C. All you gotta do is replace Sonic and Shadow's INDIVIDUAL files (DAT62 for Sonic and DAT110 for Shadow). No booter required!

Alright, I've played the character and have found everything that there is to see, and I have only one issue with it. To make use of their full potential, I have to rely on smash balls. Chasing a constantly mobile source of power with mods this advanced isn't really my forte. But overall the character is the best I've seen so far!

its late but better than never share this with the others on my behalf, you download the bootloader which is linked and named booter or something, you drag that into the SSF2 executable file AKA the thing you press to open the game. this would fix your problem

Out of curiosity, are there any specific advantages and disadvantages for each transformation? Many Custom Sonics in fighting games tend to have transformations for the sake of having a transformation, rather than having them to extend Sonic's fighting capabilities and adding even more strategy to his gameplay, along with the flashiness. Hyper Sonic would obviously be the strongest and fastest, so there'd have to be a drawback to using him to not make the player always transform into Hyper Sonic over Super Sonic
