Hello Steve. Nice radio brother. I have a few 148 GTL's. One is decent but the other two needs some TLC. I bartered for them over the years , but, here now the CB radio availability is dried up I think. Every now and then I find a little surprise but barterinbg radios has been very slow for years. Some old and rare radios are selling for crazy prices. I have an unmolested Colt Black Shadow SSB base radio that ie very rare around here. You have way more radios than I have in my collection.
I bought a few of the sought after cb base stations off greed-bay just by luck & they made it to my place largely undamaged, also by sheer luck but they all need repair. I tried to get very nice looking specimens, not easy to do. I did get the g e superbase that didnt have the usual eaky cap damage & some had also been replaced. Fun toys, maybe not to work on.
Thats pretty cheap 107 for the cobra. I always see them go for more. My favorite Mic. the Procomm. I did a test with a few of my radios using that mic. it got the best results. I run the procomm with my Cobra 29 my Uniden grant xl and my anytone 5555n ii. One day I will get a cobra 148 gtl.
I love the Super Base myself. Bad Azz looking radio for sure. ✌✌

Someone changed the channel selector display as green wasn't used on a 148. You can mod the hell out of it also as it is a awesome radio! -73's
