- While playing a show in Conneaut, Ohio, Mason (on the right) attempts his usual Breathe Again bridge guitar swing. However, this one didn't turn out so well...
There were Dunlop strap locks on the guitar rated at 800 lbs.

i luv how he casually picks up his second guitar..
allways a good sign when the main vocal is wearing flip flops
That WTF look when the guitarstrap breaks and the guitars goes up out of view is the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while.
The slow turnaround to be just in time to see the guitar crash back down is the most gutwrenching and heartbreaking thing I've ever seen... EVER!
"That's the second time that's happened."
He's like "not again -_-"
Just look at the drummer when the guitar is in the air :)
At least there wasn't anybody backstage to get beaned with the high-velocity flying guitar.
Still Waiting... for the guitar to come back down to earth
"Should be fixable"...
Lady, the guitar's in half.
Nice Sandals. Thats rock n roll
I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. This is a great video for a bad day
I gotta stop watching this. It's killing me. Tears down my face...
Every band's got a bad day. My band Dumpster Mummy has had strings break, drum skins fail, falling off stage, even our vocalist knocked himself out while staging diving once. Could've been worse though, could've come smashing down on the your head, either amp or human. Anyway, keep up on your stuff, sounds decent.
oh there were strap locks... the d-ring on the strap busted, although we had an incident when our strap locks failed recently too!
Mason and the drummers expresions in the slow-mo rewind xD
that thing got some serious air!
Litterally, air guitar? xDD
Oh the things that happen at gigs!! Sorry to hear about the guitar but it was an epic way to send it out! Keep on rocking!!!
get these guys a contract!
OH ... Bwaha the setting is so perfect. Awaiting climax, swing is set, build-up, SWING! At loss for words... R.I.P ESP VIPER 400, you flew into my heart :(
"It's rock n roll baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
@col33145 again he had strap locks they were fine the D ring that allows you to adjust the strap is what broke and it was a good fender strap.
im still waiting for that guitar to hit the floor.
@auron2301 we had them dunlops rated for 800 lbs. The straplocks didnt bread the plastic D ring that adjust the length of the strap broke we learned we only buy straps with metal D rings now.
@psychgoth The neck broke off and the body is split right down the middle.
Nothing is cooler than metal and sandals!

@Tman2022 no the body is split in half down the middle and it has other damage.
@ColabyWoW the strap is not made out of duct tape it is just lined with it to slide easier its a fender strap.
@GuitarFreak1901 It wasnt made out of duck tape it was just on the inside of the strap to make it slide better the strap was fine but the D ring that allows you to adjust the strap is what broke.
Sandals and socks \m/
Nice loving the music
@TheBarkerJr No we didnt it was not meant to break the strap broke during a concert and sent it flying it was in no way a stunt of any kind we just happend to catch the whole thing on video.
Still... Thanks for giving more details on the strap set-up. I didn't watch the whole thing through the first time. I was hoping the guitar might have survived somehow. So sad!
and that's why we have straplocks or the amazing dimarzio straps.
@kekeoki123 we had them they didnt break the D ring that allows you to adjust you strap did.

2:15 Looks like the kid that got that sweet revenge on his bully :D
Mason: You know what... I'm sick of this guitar. (1:17) *looks back* Someone'll get that.
the drummer's head follows the guitar the whole way and then looks at the guitarist like "thats a bummer man" hahahahaha
Weird, I expected a strap made out of duct tape to stay together
It's flying away !!
@letterbekmen We had stap locks dunlops rated for 800 lbs the D ring that allows you to adjust the lenght of your strap is what broke we now only buy straps with metal D rings.

@auron2301 There were strap locks. The strap broke.
@trollofcereal it was not made out of duct tape it was inside the strap so it would slide better. He's done this swing hundreds of times without any problems.
lmao! Awesome. Not for the guitarist but for my viewing pleasure
Besides the failure and the joking around. I'm still waiting to buy an album if they didn't have one. I'm not sure. I'd listen to you guys.
This is hilarious! This is why they invented straplocks Mason! Great band, though :-)
