I've used your film to diagnose what isn't wrong with my bike . I think I've stumbled onto what may be my problem , and I thought of this film and thought I should comment . I think the reason the pps switch was bent in the customers scoot is because the primary has came out too far because the primary clutch stop bolt wasn't replaced at its service Interval. I just learnt about this bolt and went and checked my scoot and my bolt is chewed but not broken . I'm praying a new bolt may restore drive in this non moving 650 I purchased . Can only give it a try
Thanks VERY much for sharing your findings. There are a lot of Burgman 650s out here, and eventually the cvt is going to need attention. It’s inevitable. Your insights are possible big $ savers.
Hey dude if U don't know about the primary clutch stop bolt U should research it and swap yours out asap . These seem to be the reason the CVT fails . It's a maintenance item that if not maintained causes the CVT primary to destroy itself .
I think the complexity of the Burger 650's transmission puts a lot of potential owners off. I mean, does anyone ever use the "manual transmission" mode or the "power" button? Great video and thanks for your cure.
HI great video, very helpful. I've just bought a Burgman 400 .2008 what reve range should the CVT start to connect?. Mine snearly 4000rpm. Is this normal? Thanks
What is the correct position of the primary cover that’s inside the CVT transmission? The manual show a piece of the housing that has a clip that is straight (C) then next to clip (C) there is clip (A) that is bent and this (A) will lock into a grove. This grove is the same grove that needs to be aligned with a bolt that hold the grove in place when the grove is aligned so the bolt threaded through the bell housing locks it in place. Is the primary cover be locked using the bent clip or should the bent clip not be used?
riding my burgman (automatic mode) it switched itself off (problem with switch) I turned it back on and it runs but do not have much power and sounds funny, as if piece of metal would be rattling in all directions, what it could be? it still runs but not much power and metalic noise so ???? also had the typical diesel rattling before only when in iddle, but now is another, once again it runs but not with much power (all the time i ride in automatic mode). Any ideas what it could be? it has 30k miles on it. Any help?
I have a 650 executive it runs sluggish out of first gear like it barely moves at all until it builds speed then it runs fine when I first start it it's fine after it warms up it barely moves out of first gear what could this problem be
Dude look up films on the primary clutch stop bolt . It's a service item that if not replaced the primary clutch can come out too far , it's a cheap item from dealer , I just found out about it and pulled mine out and mines chewed . I'm hoping it's the cause of my no drive issue
Could be CVT motor , pps switch , wheel speed sensor , primary clutch stop bolt might be sheared or worn out , belt might be broken, ecu , centre stand switch even
Hi, I have a loud low frequency noise once the bike is on the move, it is getting louder once I increase the speed and it disapears on idle. Do you have any suggestion of where should I start looking? Thanks and regards!

to be honest, i have used the power mode but you may just as well twist the throttle to get similar response.
Thanks for the video

Check the valve clearance.

Look up films on primary clutch bolt for 650 burg mate
Learnt more recently , does your bike sound like a diesel engine at all ?
No, it sounds just fine
So is. It drivable without the sensor? Or do we have to replace it?
Needs replaced
@@makaveli956 wrong sir
What's it do?it's function?
It would sense how far open the primary clutch is
