I really love seeing good videos without dislikes. I’m playing this game now and absolutely love it. Just wish I had a bigger phone. The fact it has the composer who worked on bloodborne is just incredible. It’s obvious it’s made by people with a deep love of the souls games.
Just noticed this like ratio haha that’s pretty rare! :P
Cool review, I am actually really happy a controller is required, I would love for iOS to be a lucrative space for devs to port more traditional gameplay styles. Especially now that moise and keyboard support is beginning to take off and that we can all use Xbox/ps4 controllers without fuss - definitely room for everybody on iOS!
You're missing the point on why a game like this has launched mobile-only; it's to bring the souls genre to your fingertips - and well, they did a damn fine job at doing so. Button layout and responsiveness is top tier for a game that's played through touchscreen alone. And I'm very impressed with the production value as well. The company did great for a game that's $7.
Constantly mentioning "best experience is with a controller" really degraded your review video.
Commuting Artist: Gaming Totally agree
Bought it on sale for $3.99. I honestly think it is a hidden gem. The only obvious downside is its blatant homages to From Software's games. That said, the game itself boasts some of the best map designs in the genre. If it's a console or PC game in the current state (aka with PS3 era graphics) I'd still enjoy it almost as much as I did with Demon's Souls back in the day.
Found out of this yesterday. It's a clunky/sloopy fun game that looks to be of the PS3 era in terms of graphics. This is one of the very rare soul type games that has a real in-game story that makes this once I get done to be the top 10 best indie soul type game ever.
thanks for sharing this. nice! It's my favorite game now. There is a limited outfit only for users pre-ordered the game. I saw the info on its website.
Thanks for watching and for the tip :)
It’s not often but every once in a while we see iOS made only Premium games that remind us just how powerful the platform is in a sea of F2p cash cow games
Yeah dead cells is another example.
This game is fresh spring water in a world of p2w, ad ridden games that have left a salty taste in my mouth. The fact that I can play a game of this quality while city bussing my ass to uni is a godsend.
Is pascal's wager casual mode more easy without dying in the game
This was a pretty good review, thanks for that.
What is the average duration of this game..?
20+ hours
Personally on mobile or ipad i prefer a controller 100% of the time. If the game doesn't have controller support, i literally cant play it. Idk if its because im an old gamer and not accurate with screen touches or what. Just can't stand it lol
0:44 can somebody tell what's the title of the song?
I think its called dark hymn
It's in the games intro
thanks for this
Thank YOU for watching :)
Okay, so it's safe to say that Souls has enough games based on its framework to be considered its own RPG subgenre now. So what do we call it?
Souls like
Souls-Like, already been coined by From Software.
Offline game?
Yes but if u want to save the data u need internet
it's on switch now but iunno...something about this game feels very sus.
This game is not difficult and i have proof this game is bad plus developers block people who criticize then I don’t hate the game but when you block someone who keep telling fix your game close to 2 month now that is a problem
@Blaze Is Hyped yep,he never replied lmao
