Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is a re-released and enhanced version of Ori and the Blind Forest. Initially revealed by Moon Studios during Gamescom 2015, the game was set to be released during the holiday period of 2015 until the studio decided to delay it into the next year. It was then set to be released on March 11th 2016 for Xbox One, while the Windows 10 and Steam versions had been delayed to April 27th 2016.

One of the best games ever made. Harder platforming than Hollow Knight. Beautiful esthetics and soundtrack.

@@thetakerofknees9737 Bro whoever designed Path of pain or White palace needs therapy. Its literally just pain. Theres No different way of describing it. It doesnt matter what Game has Harder platforming, oris mechanics in these Terms are just a lot better, but to be fair, ori isnt a Combat focused Game, while hollow knight has a Lot more to offer in Combat.

Helped me get through some parts! Took me 11 hours after dying 700 times but was a blast, amazing game!
2:28:45 - man, that escape sequence was *pure* punishment. I was actually yelling at the T.V out of frustration. The final boulder right at the end was a particularly nasty surprise.

YES!!! I hate the ginso tree run!! I finally beat my goal of getting into the tree without a death but now I'm trying to pass it without dying. All the others are better because at least you can still take your time and not racing water

This game reminds me of hollow knight, platforming, attacking, exploring, map, and tons of other stuff
Just starting this- wanted a pretty, relaxing game with beautiful art and music like “GRIS,” but it’s a bit annoying being constantly “killed.” At least in GRIS, if you screw up, you just fall down and have to start over, or go in a different direction. Any other games like this you guys could recommend? I’ll keep plugging away here, and thank you so much for this walkthrough, but wow, if you guys want a really meaningful, emotional game, GRIS was truly outstanding and well-researched-moving through the stages of grief. Beautiful.
Hi Patricia. In this Ori game (Blind Forest) you can save your game literally anywhere you want. I played on Xbox and would spend spirit orbs or spirit light wherever I was standing to create an instant save point. I would imagine it's the same on PC?
If you haven't played yet, I suggest journey, it's very relaxing and beautiful game
Hollow knights is a pretty decent game I guess
Hollow knight is a similar game. Not as interesting platforming, but a wonderful story and beautiful visuals none the less.

My dad got me this game in 2020, and i finished it earlier this year after putting it off because of its difficulty. I absolutely adore this game, its one of my fondest memories playing a game ever🩵 the sequel was amazing too, i absolutely cant wait until the 3rd one comes out!

Kuro seems to be a raven. But when all Nibel was burning she knew only Ori's and Sein's light would be able to stop it and save her last child which Nibel then would be given to Naru to take care of.

I died 398 times on normal mode and 403 times on hard mode before beating the game. This game is indeed very difficult. My next goal is to beat one life mode. Maybe I'll be able to do it one day

At 36 minutes on this film i died 120 times since start game in normal mode , game is perfect im casual gamer.
At 1:08.21 yours has no water over the bridge you have to break mine does is there a way to get the water to go away I can’t avoid it

My issue is i'm playing this on Nintendo switch and i have no idea what controls you're using to shoot the ball up into the air, i can do something similar with enemies but i've tried literally every button and nothing is working to shoot it up in the air

There's an invisible path to the right of the ability orb. Just jump right up. You might need double or triple jump to get up that high though.

I guess it's their nature; Kuro means "black" in japanese and is a being of the night and death, which why her habitat contains of darkness and dead trees.
