A lot of teams don’t get their regular season uniforms until the regular season begins…so the returning players usually have on the same thing they wore from the year before…so new players will usually have something different on in the preseason…also some returning players upgrade helmets from year to year.

We had a smart kid that skip a grade yr so instead of starting 8 grade this fall, he is in HS…a private one! Another thing is the age cutoff. He could’ve just been a few weeks older and a the 8 grade already.
