Nah in reality we’d just get tackled by one raptor and it’s game over, no respawning at the base or anything. And just imagine trying to tame a giga or something massive by knocking it out and forcefully shoving food into it hoping it becomes yours. I’ll stick to just playing it as a PC game..

Coming back to this practically halfway through 2021 I remember when I loved this game so much I missed when I was as happy when I tamed my first ever tame that was a really good day the only day in my life I hadn’t really gone to cry in my corner I wish I could feel like that again. I remember when this game made me excited... I remember the day I found out about a survival game unlike anything that the gaming community had ever seen... A game that not only was interesting and created with breathtaking UE4 graphics, but a game that looked to evolve itself as much as the fantastic variety of prehistoric fauna that inhabited its world and made the game what it was... But that was a different time, a different day, and in my opinion a different game. I am happy that there are those that can enjoy this game for what it has turned into now, but for me and maybe others out there like me I can’t help but feel as if this game ultimately missed a chance... A chance that wasn’t quite obvious but one that more so dealt with the roots of the game itself and what the developers wanted to focus on. Now years after the game entered its alpha state and eventual release much has changed but I know truly that Ark: Survival Evolved will always hold a special place in my heart However I don’t think I’ll ever get to feel the feeling, see the fulfillment, or play the game that truly didn’t need to evolve as much as it did
