If I was a dev/publisher I would pay legacy games journos to hate on my game, label it sexist, and attack people interested in it. I'd be respectful to potential customers and adopt a consumer friendly business model. Then I'd sit back and rake in the cash.

The fact they didn’t take the knee and instead went full uncensored mode with this experience as an over-the-top exaggerated horror show of sex snd violence…like alotta video games used to be!
Um, uncensored? Sex? I don't see anything that would require censoring, and there isn't going to be any actual sex in it. Just good looking women in nice outfits that fully cover all the naughty bits. Can't see anything in Stellar Blade that you can't see on any beach in the summertime, where little kids are running around all over. The blood and gore and violence? Sure, but nobody seems to care much about that stuff. The whole controversy is just the femawokies in a tizzy because the characters haven't been uglified to their satisfaction, or made to be some gender identity that doesn't exist.

The irony is that all of this negative publicity from ideologues is actually attracting more people to the game. I briefly read about Stellar Blade sometime last year and thought it sounded interesting. Now I definitely want to buy it! A friend of mine who is not a gamer, got Hogwarts because his wife wanted it and the non-activists made such a fuss about it that he wanted to see what was up. He loves playing the game now.
Is it that good though? I mean no hate, but I heard that for a wizard game, it only has 26 spells when even Elden Ring has over 100
@@sufianramli Hogwarts has skill trees that change what the spells do. Many of the spells/incantations in Elden Ring are pretty useless. IMO Elden Ring is by far the superior game between the 2 but Hogwarts isn't a bad game at all.

To those that pay attention to the review scores, IGNORE the upcoming reviews from media, they will give a low score to Stellar Blade. Listen to youtubers, look for users scores. Media wants to stop the hype of Stellar Blade, even more than Hogwarts Legacy.

This was the first time I ever bought a physical copy and the digital deluxe. Not that I support digital, but I will go out of my way to support a company like this. Especially during this time in our culture. We always say, let our wallet do the talking. Well, that also goes for spending. It doesn’t just mean hold onto your money. A studio like this comes around once in a while, and we should go out of your way to support them.

Like many, I really wasn't aware of this game until people started complaining about it. I went and watched the trailers and thought to myself, that's the first game I've been interested in purchasing and playing since Grand Theft Auto v or maybe the most recent release of doom. Looks like a really good comeback game. We have two really strong female protagonist Leeds, who managed to be feminine while still kicking ass. Why is that a problem? We need to start calling these women who complain out on their own sexism. They hate classically attractive female characters. That's a form of discrimination. There's nothing wrong with wanting to introduce variety into video games, but there's something very wrong with wanting to eliminate those elements that you don't personally approve of. That's a form of Erasure, which they're always talking about. It's actually hugely biased because they're basically saying that attractive women should not be given the same considerations as unattractive women. They shouldn't be allowed to be main characters, they shouldn't be permitted to be smart and capable. They should not be seen. They hate attractive women, end of story. It's pure, unadulterated bile. Call it out every time you see it. It's looking. It's racism. It's bigotry.

The look of the character is just a bonus for me. This game had me sold at no DLC or season pass or micro transaction bullshit. The game comes complete.

I would have liked it on PC. The game looks pretty good but on resolution mode it isn't very playable for me. I can play most single player story games on the graphics or resolution mode but not an action game like this. Balanced is a good compromise for me. On PC I wouldn't have to choose, but it may come later.
*I don't even have a PS5, but if I had the money I would buy this game just to stick it to the establishment*
