Thank you so much and here's hoping! I love Gold Man so much and it's a shame winters are too short (thankfully) for how many favourite cold weather fragrances i have and love. It amounts to probably one day for Gold Man and that's it. Make it count i guess. I wanted to wear Journey Man today when I read this but went with Heritage instead, as it's the one i'm preparing for my next review
@@MemoryFlo my buddy AC from @smellsgood calls herirage a colossus and i think he is right. If you have never smelled roja doves creations get a sample of danger. It is a 500 dollar fragrence and it is so close to heritage your head will spin. Now roja dove worked for guerlain and was the highest ranking non-guerlain by birth ever..but still. Aventus used to be my favortite fragrence early in my journey until i discovered heritage! Cant wait for that review. And i am in Texas so i agree on not being enough cold days for my love of leather and tobacco fragrences!! -Ramsey
@@RamseytheRam So true. Unfortunately, Roja Dove is out of reach where I am, but I did smell a few of them. I'm more than curious to smell Diaghilev and Danger and other "Guerlain inspired" Roja Doves, however that price tag is quite difficult to justify. And it's not that they have to justify it for my benefit, it's just the understanding that some products are simply not meant for me price wise. A lot of rich folk out there that don't know what to do with their money, so if there's a market for it, then it's understandable

However as a conniseur (to lazy to look up proper spelling if its spelled wrong i apologize lol) you will really enjoy comparing his creations to guerlains of past. Diaghilev to mitsouko and danger to heritage for example. One of his most unique creations is enigma or creation e as its called here in the USA for copyright reasons. It is a beautiful tobacco with a boozy cognac. Beautifully done and once you get to the point in your fragrence journey where you have checked out all the classics seeing the tweaks he has made to past hall of fame fragrences is fun and interesting. They released parfum colognes that are cheaper (200 instead of 500 for the parfum) if you love tobacco like me it is a must to at least get a sample to put your nose on enigma. Other than that i would love to hear if you have some favorite tobacco based frags you can recommend. I love learning about new fragrences. -Ramsey
@@RamseytheRam Yes, you are totally right! The price may deter me from purchasing full bottles, but I'm still curious about them and I do love homages in perfumery. About tobacco? I don't think I have tobacco as the main star in any fragrance but whenever I feel like it, I go for Journey Man from Amouage and Tonka Imperiale from Guerlain. Tobacco is great in a supporting role
Great video, end great juice I have 3 vintage bottles , 100ml but there is 75 ml left ( year 2011) end 2, 50ml each (years 2010- end 2013) not magnetic cap very very potent juice, they have a long list of ingredients, it says oak moss & tree moss lucky me ☺️ 👍👍
Epic Man is strange where potency is concerned. I have the current formulation and while it is clearly present, I can’t tell if it’s projecting or not. However, I will feel it on a jacket days later.
Well, the thing with compliments is I never get spontaneous compliments from random people on the street, and the people I know (work, family, friends) that offer compliments, usually offer them abundantly. But as a matter of fact, as I was wearing this fragrance to bed one night, i did get a compliment. I like how that felt
