Strick heard on some of the old local Kimberly bush telegraph ,some bad news regarding your trip .Hope it is not true & wishing you all the best . With those Tuna up there when they are hunting in packs like that, a old lead barrel sinker ,that you have rubbed shiny with the back of a knife ,then threaded onto some trace ,with just a decent hook 8/0 hook ,hitched on the end works wonders,it mimics the Gar & button fish they are feeding on .They cost next to nothing if the razor gang is in town & you can cast them far & accurate ,but there is also usually big Spanish Mack & queenies ,sitting under them feeding on the scraps ,both find the sinker wound back in fast with a stop/ start motion irresistible & a little tag of Red electrical tape wrapped on the front sends out a great bubble trail if they are fussy .
Well done Fran on catching that huge Tuna, it was Amazing. And also a big thank you for being aware and using as much of the fish for minimum waste, Excellent. 🥰🇬🇧

Seriously how bloody amazing is Fran! I watched the first series and was blown away at what an all rounder she is, nothing she won’t have a go of! Of course we see plenty of blocks doing this stuff but not too many beautiful women who can cop this sort of lifestyle/holiday and be such an amazing part of the team (not just eye candy) seriously great to see and a brilliant role model for young girls out there. Mate, I live in the State they're filming from, & I'll probably never get to where they are. They're in a really remote spot you can't reach without spending a few days aboard a boat, or have Helicopter money. I'm finding it fascinating, & at least I've been about 500k's from where they are now, but that was accessible by road, so, more people & a few less fish.

So great to that you guys have recovered and now able to continue onwards in your journey along the Kimberley Coast. I think I have watched every single episode of your Great Adventures 1 and 2 a dozen times now! It is so inspiring to get out there and see these same gorgeous places around the Aussie coastline!

Based on the shot of your hospital 'repaired' leg, that thing was in a dangerous condition. Glad you got if fixed in time. Liked Fran's sign language. That long-fin tuna looked like really great eating, especially the steaks and sashimi. Would have to taste the pickled tuna before judging - but the ingredients sounded OK - may taste better than it looks. Wonderful video!

How about Fran though,...catches the Tuna then ashore she sets up camp and gets a fire ready for when Mr. Sleepyhead Strick wakes up and then cleans the Tuna and makes sashimi, and pickles a big portion of the catch!! Domestic Goddess nothing, Fran is just full blown GODDESS, period.

Looks like the pilbra coast now ? Get in around the gas plant at pluto. Theres a maze of islands and hand down insane fishingbon plastics . I got 45 fiah in there one day. Sent all back but couldnt not get smashed in around there. Live that coast line

What a woman Fran is. She catches dinner, sets up a fire, puts the swag up, fillets the tuna, pickles and makes sashimi. All you had to do was have a fish, a snooze and quickly cook some steaks haha. Only way that could have been best day ever would be topped off with a cold beer.
