Hey everyone! I hope you liked the video. If you did, I'd love to think I earned your subscription. It really helps me to get more of these great games to show off! Really looking forward to your comparison re: Black Swan (here) vs. Blinds Swords (my favorite). The play aids should have been 11 x 17. Gorgeous maps! Hermann Luttmann has become one of the top (and most prolific) designers in the hobby, he “gets it”.
I ended up purchasing the print and play version as I cannot afford to not only purchase a physical copy, but also cannot afford the shipping and custom duties to Canada. Based on your unboxing, I have a lot of printing to do.
@@WayneHansen Hi Wayne; I, without a doubt, am an extremely fortunate gamer when it comes to getting custom made game stuff. There is a terrific local company called CustomGameBits, and they make my counters for me, on mdf or something similar, and just silly affordable. In addition, I can manage to get maps printed to a larger size, so rarely have to deal with counters being the same size or larger than the hexes. Happy gaming and hope to see your show on Sunday!
I'm really enjoying discovering the differences between your original Blind Swords system and then this one. It's working a lot better for me than a devil's to pay. I can see why so many people are digging it. I'm thinking you and your team have created a hit here, Herm.
I backed the game on Kickstarter, received it and I am starting to go through the rules. Will look forward to seeing your tutorials on the game. The maps are spectacular and boy are they big when all put together.
I started an american civil war phase a couple years ago and it hasn't stopped yet, haha. Last birthday my wife got me Shelby Foote's The Civil War trilogy of books.
@@WayneHansen - Yes, when time permits, lol. Still unsure about a few rules here n there…. Forget some stuff too! The ‘In Support’ rule is easily forgotten! The rules note this, too.
Never played that one, did Palladium books re-release it? I'm an old D&D player. Started with 1st edition with my stepdad, then worked my way through the editions over the years. Although I haven't played in a few years, which I'd love to change. Played some Rifts from Palladium also which was a lot of fun.

Love Rick Barber maps.
You aren't the only one Kirk. It's just a shame I can't show it off all at once! Maybe one day I'll have a larger playing area.
@@WayneHansenhow big are both maps together? I was wondering how big a table you’d need to play the full game, with both maps laid out?

Spot on take Steve. And I need more time with this to start comparing it to Blind Swords, which is one of my favorite systems of all time.

Wow Chris... that's going to be a lot of printing. You're going to pay the same amount for printer ink! haha

Thanks. Good stuff. I’m going through my civil war and late 1800 phase…so there goes more money.

Flying Pig Games is an awesome. I like the weight of their games.
I love the components of their games, but my chiropractor isn't happy.
Thanks Wayne! Can’t wait for the Tutorials/Play through. I want to compare ’Notes’ with you on that 😀
You got it Tom. I know you've been playing AMFS like crazy. I see it over on the FB group for the game.

Amazing game board!! :) :)
Absolutely Vince. From the quality to the artwork. I'm really glad Rick Barber was able to make this map before he passed.
@@WayneHansen It has the appearance of an original, hand drawn map from the era :o :o :)
I see these thumbnails and I keep thinking you're doing videos on the old Recon! RPG.
