Where are the plans at for dummies like myself so I can make one? This seems like the perfect starter plane for people who have never made or flown one..makes me want to learn
Saw it. My friend designed the plane called the Diamond Dust. It is a triangle shaped twin rudder fast plane, kinda similar to that one Howard Hughes designed. Out the box it is capable of 200+ mph. Used to be made of that foam. He changed it to a balsa leading edges with a carbon fiber pencil lead sized rod to keep the thickness where needed because it was lighter. At about 150-160 the foam would depart from the motor. Yes it was a nitro-methane-caster oil 2stroke eng in the .60 size. Man that thing was fast! Had to be covered in ultra coat because monocoat wouldn’t hold up to the speed. Thanks for sharing
@@tsx3214 my Dad built one from scratch..a bigger version and he even made his own propellor.. Worked for weeks on it.. First flight, we took it out into a field and didn't it fly straight into the only tree in the whole field?😂😂.. it looked great for about 5-10 seconds though
@@100GTAGUY Funny you should say that. yes, the 787 is built this way. But guess what isn't? The new 777x, that's built out of good ol' aluminium. I wonder why. Can't be because the 787 is now literally grounded due to structural safety and overall quality issues XD
Very talented, I am sure you could market this project . A lot of young people, as well as the young at heart would enjoy building and flying this model as well as other models.

@@79WildFire это-то понятно. Такие кружки очень плохо финансируются, практически на само выживании. Раньше их поддерживали заводы, снабжали станками, механизмами, а сейчас всё на энтузиазме педагогов. Не так дёшево собрать самолёт, корабль, моделирование это дорого.

Ведь когда ребёнок с детства получает знания по электронике или механике, то во взрослые года ему намного легче на производстве и в жизни. Но....к сожалению сейчас заводы то не нужны государству....не то что дети.... Формируют в обществе новый формат мышления....когда людьми управлять это единственно важная задача....мда. Раньше люди всё умели и работу знали. И на земле могли жить и для дома много сделать......сейчас всё можно "заказать", остальное не важно и не нужно....Удобно без сомнений.....Но это путь к абсолютной зависимости от других и полной утрате навыков.

Los motores eran alimentados por combustible y para iniciar la ignición del combustible había que conectarlos a una gran batería y hacer girar esa hélice. Para controlar el despegue, el vuelo y el aterrizaje se hacia con cuerdas de nylon que desde tierra se hacia que se movíeran el timón y los alerones. No existían los controles remotos.

That's Roofmate, made by Dow Chemical. My dad used to work at one of their plants in the Dutch town of Terneuzen. They produced it there already in the 70's...
That's awesome , well that cuts it short they are beyond awesome😎,, I use to build gliders.. I lived in the hills of Virginia.... I also built kite's,,, I used lawn garbage bags I would use 4 bags model car glue and those sticks that would grow in the marsh,,, and rags for a tail. They looked like a stealth fighter plane. I would fly them from the top of the mountain. I would use 5 1000yards of kite line more time's than not they snapped the line they would fly beyond my vision occasionally they would shoot back to the ground covered in ice.....😎 I was just a kid but I had dreams...
If you people learn math, physics and mechanical interactions, you can create stuff. Just need motorized blades, steering capabilities and communications to control motorized blades and steering. From there you need vessel. Plane, train, automobile
