Hello thank you for the helpful video. I am doing the mann whitney u test for loftus and palmer IA, however I got a U value that is greater than the critical value and a p-value that is less than 0.05. My U and p values seem to contradict each other, so i'm not sure which hypothesis to reject and which to accept. Id appreciate it if you could offer some help. Thank you!
@@emilywirleitner7593 I believe my teacher told me to ignore the U value completely -- don't mention it at all. So i just accepted my hypothesis on the basis of my p value.
