Great instructional video. I have just received the same Oxford lights. Yes you are right a 10mm socket will not fit the said bolt but a 10mm box key will. I am a maintenance man and deal with a lot of plumbing tasks and the box keys have a thinner wall than the sockets. Nice to see you found a work around though. I too will be powering them through a Thunder box set up.

Glad the video was of some use 👍. I’ve still got the original brackets that came with the lights so I’ll try and pick up a 10mm box key as you’ve suggested 👍

Thank you, I have a GS so can't direct splice the blue Oxford live wire into the bike because of it's intelligent electric system so needed to get the healtech, you video has been very helpful xxx

Sorry mate, would it not have been easier to use the ready wired auxiliary connection that comes on the bike or was it not possible?

From what I could see there was no auxiliary wired connection for extra lights on the bike. No spare buttons on the switchgear like there is on the 502 hence why I installed like I have done. There seems to be other auxiliary wiring ready for the camera unit and heated seats etc
