I like Cardoso. I’d love to see her somewhere that utilizes her properly. She is being done a huge disservice in Chicago. Her game is too good for the role they have her in.

As a Hawkeye, and being around the fans at the games and tailgating, I can definitely confirm that Flaujae Johnson was the player we feared the most from LSU. At no time was Reese ever really in the conversation aside from mocking her theatrics when LSU won the title. It was LSU's bench (Carson i think it was?) That hard carried that game. Then round 2 Reese got destroyed and fouled out. That's why Clark's comment about their "rivalry" was totally spot on. Nobody at Iowa cares or thinks about Reese at all. Now that they are both pro, I have yet to meet a Hawkeye fan who even hates Reese. Usually it's just "yeah she's pretty good, but she picked a bad year to go for ROTY" lol. Had LSU benched reese for the entire 2022-23 season and the tournament, they'd have still won it all going away. Hell, she was out pointed and rebounded by all 4 other starters in the final 4 including her BACKUP. She's a passenger who fits the hivemind so she gets shoved down our throats. Dunn and Sides wanted to pass over CC to draft her at #1 but ownership stepped in at the 11th hour. The problem is he didn't tighten the screws beyond that and they've been punishing Clark ever since.
In the 4th quarter Reese had 3 rebounds off her own missed shots!!!!!!! Are we stat padding here!!!!!!!! Reese needed those 3 rebounds to giver her 10 for the night 7/11/2024 Reese should never had broke the record. In a game before she supposably broke it, Reese went in for a lay up and the shot was blocked. The ball never hit the rim or backboard, and Reese caught the ball out of bounds. They gave her a rebound for it to give her 10 for the night!!!!! Reese's record was broken before it was a record. They stat padded her stats to give her rebounds and points she didn't get or deserve!!!!!!!

But for them to say she is being sacrificed while AR has been getting double doubles with Cardoso unable to play and still getting them while playing same minutes as Cardoso is laughable.
