I made a similar salad..I put the rainbow notes in. Cauliflower, broccoli. Onion, colored peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, black Olives and a whole bottle of Italian dressing..its my favorite salad

Hawks are fearless creatures. I live1 mile from the county courthouse in my county (so lots of people & traffic) & I looked up & saw 1 get a bird out of mid-air & saw it flying off with the bird then just drop it bc a flock of birds was chasing it & figure it wasn't worth the hassell.

We keep feed in our feeders so we don’t have to feed every day. .

Tuscaloosa here. I am still enjoying your channel. Having to redo some of my gardens due to rain damage. I finally started getting a real good cucumber crop. I am taking 14” cucumbers off the vine. I have been pickling them with red hot candy.

Do you have deer where you live? They are in abundance in Laurens, SC. I had to get a 10' fence put around my garden. They even come up to the deck. Lol. I love your videos!
They don't really come out in our garden they stay in the wooded areas.

Yes, school is just around the corner. We are getting excited. I'm planning on making Elderberry jelly. Elderberry syrup and drying some to save for later. All the Elderberry things. :)
We made kielbasa slices,diced potatoes quartered Roma tomatoes,sliced onions ,drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We also seasoned with Kinders The Blend and Kinders All purpose seasoning. We served with seasoned green beans simmered on stovetop. Air fry kielbasa mixture for 14 min at 375F. We have a ninja foody

Hi, I always just keep my chickens food full all day. Is there a reason (besides conserving feed) that you feed them once or twice a day? They seem super hungry, lol mine don't get excited about regular food just kitchen scraps and treats, I guess they are spoiled. I started off years ago free ranging them but the hawks are a problem here too (especailly in the winter) and the foxes come right up and snatch them too. Its just not possible to free range here without them getting killed. Ours do have a gigantic run so they don't seem to mind :)

I enjoy watching you take care of your family. I know that elderberry’s are good for you, but what do you do with them, how do you process them to use?
I freeze them and then use them to make syrup and jelly. We take the syrup daily during cold and flu season. I'm also going to dry some this year to have for later.
Where did you buy your elderberry bushes/trees?
When we got this property it was overgrown and we found them when we cleared it. They were just naturally here.
