We had a good run on those few lines. Took 5 uploads to put it all out. We were hoping for more big flatheads but ended up with mostly blues. Fed a lot of people
@@morrisprislovsky5164 my whole family in my Mom’s side lives there and I spent my childhood summers there. I lived there for a bit and if I ever move again I’m sure it’ll be Eastern Arkansas
Thanks! They weren’t running and when we found out that the nets weren’t doing good, we got up where we thought they’d be going in and out spawning and they were stacked
Absolutely! We were on a mission to help people needing fish. Good lord blessed us with a tremendous week when no one else was having any luck. It felt good to fill up peoples freezers with these grocery prices. I appreciate you watching
We didn’t put a dent in that catfish population 😆. We only fished a small area with 25 hooks. We were still catching when we pulled them. Once everyone had what they needed we took them out. I appreciate you watching.
You have some big catfish out there! Watching you fishing at night makes me think about all of the alligators we have in our creeks around here in Georiga, lol! I couldn't do this but it's fun to watch you do it! 😆🐊
No that’s all we had to rebait after we caught those two setting lines because we were out of baitfish. We baited with live bluegill, green sunfish and shad.
That’s one thing I think we take for granted up here in MI, we can stick our hands in without worrying too much about something that would take your hand off lol! Looks like you accomplished your goal of filling them freezers. Some absolute tanks there! Those night shots were amazing too. How do you not get swarmed by bugs tho? Or does that just not show up on camera?
That was first night and if was in the lower 60’s. We stopped night runs because they were awful after that and you couldn’t turn a light on lol. We like running at night be you do have to be aware of your surroundings.
We thought we were going to lol. That cooler is 3ft long and several had curled tail getting them in. We used bluegill and green sunfish mostly. I caught some shad to bait with a couple times but they’re a little less durable. Catfish liked it all though
They have swivels and a weight and hook below it. They aren’t sitting on bottom. They are suspended. Occasionally a swivel gets bound usually when they run up and debris gets in the line momentarily and the fish starts rolling around. The river is full of stuff floating downstream
Yes. Everyone said fish weren’t biting and no one was catching anything but us. We just happened to throw the lines on top of them. It was a great trip for sure. Doesn’t always happen like that. 25 hooks, 5 runs, 65 fish

@@RaisedOutdoors oh I bet that fed a lot of people!!!!
Y'all were loading the boat! Glad you are able to help some people out.
It was such a blessing! It was unbelievable what we caught and were able to send home with folks! 4 more videos from this trip
You. Guys are the first in alot of videos who actually have a pair o pliers.
Best part is you include the young ones in your outings. The fish are just a bonus.
Yea if they want to go, the answer is always yes. We really are raised outdoors, it’s not just a name 😆

Yes myself too. Actually lower White River. Now live in the Ozarks (in Arkansas). Do miss eastern AR!

Awesome catch. Limb lines produce some good catches when they biting good. Always a blast!!
Thanks! They weren’t running and when we found out that the nets weren’t doing good, we got up where we thought they’d be going in and out spawning and they were stacked
@@RaisedOutdoors all it takes sometimes is a new strategy, lol. Find myself hunting a different strategy nearly every time I go fishing🤣

I enjoyed that, lots of fun happening there. That was a super nice flathead. I'd love to live down there. Ready for the rest of the series!!!
Yea my family lives there, I grew up spending my summers there and lived there for a few years. If I ever move it’ll probably be back there lol
Wow! Nice haul for a fish fry and fill the freezer!
Oh, that’s day 1……we were helping everyone out who wanted fish. We were about the only people catching….so good lord blessed us and we blessed others

Oh those waters are full of gators and cotton mouths. Only about 10 miles from where Arkansas state record was caught. 13feet 11 1/2 inches.
Me and my husband have been wanting to try this!
It’s absolutely a blast!
Man you were on them! Only bait you were using was nightcrawlers?
No that’s all we had to rebait after we caught those two setting lines because we were out of baitfish. We baited with live bluegill, green sunfish and shad.
GREAT FISHING.. im glad to see yall are going to eat those fish ...
Heck yea! We feed everyone. We release what we want but we don’t give into sport fishing pressure. This is our lifestyle

It was super fun! It was like that all week!
Where did you order your reflective ID tags from?
My cousin got them from somewhere a long time ago. I usually just use reflective tape or shiny duct tape
Another great trip brother! Your gonna need a bigger cooler 😂😂👍what kind of bait are you using.

Holy cow that last fish was huge. Nice fishing trip you had, much better than my fish for fun. Great video.
We had a good week. Caught 65 on those lines and some on a rod and reel. Have 4 more videos of just the line runs
@@RaisedOutdoors nice!!! I can't wait to see the videos.
Limb shakers!
Filet makers!
Absolutely!
Man, you boys got on em son! Good job….. were y’all using bream and shad?🙏 🎣 ✌️
Yessir. Mostly live bluegill and green sunfish. Had to hook the shad through twice to keep them from pulling it off
@@RaisedOutdoors dang good trip!
What do you use to make pulp?
I’m sorry, I guess I don’t understand the question
Throw you some swivels on em. Let the move a little.
