Best racing I have seen in quite some time! Takes me back to the late 80’s early 90’s when you seen windsurfing on TV! Now with the drones , maybe we can get that electricity back! Killer event!!!!
Ab-so-lutely absolute craziness. 😂. Big efforts from everyone. Shout-out too to the starting boat crew, they must be buggared after bouncing around out there in those swells.... absolutely
this is real windsurfing. even the losers were happy during the interviews. as you said talking with bjorn with separate crews and more drones it could be spectacular even to non windsurfers. the future is bright 💚👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

This looks cool. I used to speed sail in the late '80s / shaped and built my own boards. I even had a "rough-water speed board" for Sprecklesville and Camp 1 and "mini-slalom boards." Anyone know what kind of max speeds these racers are hitting on the downwind legs - the dude with the 6.0 for example? Amazing fins - I would have been getting sideways all over the place!
I believe the top speed Ben has foundout so far is 37 knts, although my guess is there will probably be someone with a faster speed...

Great heavy Action 🤙🤙🤙in maximal choppy water. Only the best could handle it. How could they see the boyes in this choppy water? 🤔. No Foil needed in the whole competition week. Were there any spectators in pozo, apart from Björn Dunkerbeck?

3:18 - should have been on a PD Airinside board. THOISE are rigid and solid. Kinda goes to show how fragile and how little carbon there actually is in these modern boards. Not a very good advertisement.
But i thought foils were the future because they cut the chop out and go about 1kt faster top end and make gybes smoother ????? yawn..
If that’s the worst chop Maciek has been in he has had a pretty sheltered windsurfing life.
I would say thers a big defference travelling through chop at 20kts and 35kts
i believe he meant during a race...
