One tip I would say is familiarize your self with the dashboard, there are a lot of things you're asking about in the video that the dash will tell you. Like the meter just to the left of the gauges that show your static build up and how many good shock pods you have. Also, the left and right screens have other pages you can tab over to with info on you filter efficiency, hull/upgrades health, and which ucc's have failed. If they have a flashing red light, they're trying to tell you something is bad
One tip: To save little power, you can first store you items in boxes, put them on shelves and right click on them to open them, it will lock them in place, then you can turn off gravity generator to save power and boxes will remain inside shelves neatly :D
@@lechking941 works fine for me :D Just put the boxes on shelves and right click to open them, they will stay after you turn off gravity. Also, if you wanna take a box, you have to close it ofc. Anyway, it works 100%

Haze Way is currently bugged for multi trailer hauls... Save before you enter and don't save until you leave. Saving IN Haze Way will disconnect the last two trailers, and they'll follow you through the gate at bad angles, reconnect during gate travel, and destroy your truck and trailers. The solution I found is to disconnect from your trailer, fly a little bit away, save, then reload. Your trailers will be reconnected to each other. If you are too close, the physics may yeet the trailers in a random spin.
working through recommend difficulty and finding it surprisingly easy, Likely will do a hard playthrough in a few weeks. My view on the in game economy is perfectly balanced but you CAN'T ONLY focus on jobs A lot of people complaining about power so my tips below: Picking up salvage and only buying cheap batteries has worked super well for me. I only buy the 100 batteries with the exception of gravity, as it's very quick to change them and the investment for better ones is not worth the time save. Selling batteries at even 1% charge gives you a significantly larger amount of money then at 0% same with other components so not letting them die helps. Turn air con to minimum required + lights off to save on A LOT of power. Can turn other things off like gravity but it's not worth the hassle for me. Having spare parts is always worth it. I pick up 1 crate (6) of 100 batteries, 1 crate (6) of 150's (Only if salvaged, Use for Gravity, Oxygen), 1 crate air filters (3), 1 crate for UCC (5) + spare shock, Fuel is optional but not worth the weight IMO. Worst case scenario so far I used 2 air filters and can't find replacements (Operating on 100,100,50,50 + Spare). 4 Crates of supplies well within starting 200 weight limit and plenty of spare storage for other stuff. Not even a full truck refit has me worried. Express tolls are worth it in the cost of saved on Batteries, Fuel and time if it even saves just 1 jump.
The best tip i can give you on making money is take advantage of any salvage beacons you come across. You can make more money gathering salvage an selling it compared to hauling loads.
Oh man that was entertaining. Great edits to keep the flow going without having to deal with the 'boring' stuff. I genuinely felt that your narration was talking to me directly. Good content. Nice one.
If you don't mind a bit of spoilers, I've put them farther down in the comment. But if you really wanna make money, I recommend buying any electronics (shock pods, microstabilizers, etc.) where it's cheap, and driving them over to Spark City where they're at a constant markup. You can also do this with air filters (which are considered General Goods) and take on debt for profit since the filters are considered essential. the yellow region is solar flares, countered by the shutters, and the purple region is "Shimmerstones" which are invisible until you unlock the scanner.
Several things led me to a very old game called “Freelancer” developed by Digital Anvil and published by Microsoft Game Studios. Which was more concentrated on adventure and space shooting. The truck that drives is the head called “Train”, which always comes with two cargoes at the end. And some stations and ruined structures can be found in the game, too. But the highway was less efficient than the trade lanes in FL, which I think is more realistic for the developers wanting to present. And by the way, FL used auto-pilot to dock almost everything that makes life easier. So this was more acceptable for average Joe to play as a driver. And thanks to Mr. Drae’s hard working and being humorous, the galaxy was peaceful and actively today.

This is definitely a hard game. I'm further than you in the game and I'm still constantly in the red. Every breaks when I get paid so it's hard to get ahead. It is a charge over time and it gets worse the longer you stay in the static. You can see the charge in the lower left of your dash below fuel gauge. When it reaches the red your fuse will pop saving you. If you didn't know yet when sitting in the chair to your far right there is an emergency break that lets you stop faster. It's probably key bound to a key on your keyboard. On Xbox controller you push in the left joystick. If you are too cold or you are about to suffocate jump in your space suit. (And as a side note, I think it is idiotic I cannot change the custom difficulty setting mid-game.)
also the red flashing lights on your side screens indicates somethings damaged on right side second screen your air filters are bad so your starting to use more air then you can produce
I think they need to balance the money vs consumables. That last trip took 1400 fuel and only made 1500$. Plus the battery power used, plus the filter wear...
You need to read the steam community posts, most people recommend playing in custom mode, because in normal mode the truck eats power cell like crazy. 😂
