- Flug einer F4U Corsair mit neuem Saito FG60 Sternmotor. Nach 3 Jahren konnte ich die Folie nicht mehr sehen, habe dann im Winter die Folie entfernt und GFK Glasfasermatten aufgebracht und Nieten und Panelines eingearbeitet.

I Loved the way it looked with the bullet holes!!!!!! It was Awesome with a Great Fighter Look.........Very Nice Restoration tho!! Can you do a second plane to look like original with the bullet holes??
I wanted to do it but my new planes are made of fiberglass, so you should not drill holes in it ;-))) but maybe there will be another warbird where I can do it. Many Thanks!!!

Thank you very much - the gear is a Behotec C36 (90 °). I do not know the weight exactly, the Corsair was about 1.1kg heavier after the conversion.
BEAUTIFUL CONSTRACTION JOB,GREAT FLIGHT,PAINT JOB,A REAL CAPTAIN ON THE FIELD BUT WHY, WHY?FG60-R3 AND NOT FG84-R3(OR 90-R3)MAY I ASK CAPTAIN.

Very nice model, but why the tiny wheels? BTW...the pilot could stand a weight gain program. He's looking a bit thin.
Thank you - the BlackHorse is not super scale, because fit no larger wheels. Pilot has it behind him, he's been sitting there for a while :-)

Hello! this is exactly what i want to do, are you happy with the Saito 3 cylinder, i hear reports that it can be troublesome? very very nice sound, fantastic presence in the air, i hope it is still flying strong.

your plane is beautiful! You flies very well, I can't find that propeller, have you ever used a two-blade prop that worked just as well , I like very much how does it performs !!!

What kind of cover is that you are using for the wings?
I'm sorry, I don't remember, it was too long. It was such a fabric and then coated with white glue.

wie hast du den die Nieten aufgebracht ?
siehst am Bild 0:47, mit dem Lötkolben und speziell gefertigter "Nietenreinmachspitze" (runder hohler Kreis) ;-)
An unserem neuen Modell was dann kommt (DH100 Vampire) haben wir die Nieten mit dem Dremel gemacht. Sägst einen z.B. 2mm Bohrer schief ab und dann wennst dremelst ergibt sich der Kreis. Vorteil zum Lötkolben, die Grundschicht (Füller) verbrennt / schmilzt es nicht so komisch weg, Nachteil ist, man muss höllisch aufpassen mit dem Dremel das man nicht durch kommt.

das ist schon eine Weile her, soweit ich weiß haben wir den aus der Anleitung 1:1 übernommen und das passte so
O.k dann würde der bei 130mm liegen da komme ich niemals mit hin.....
ja so ist es, hab eine Notiz gefunden. 130mm ab Vorderkante (80-85mm Flügelkante). Ist sie zu Schwanzlastig oder?
RC PLANE VIDEOS ja genau. Ich habe sie gebraucht gekauft und Aktuell liegt der Schwerpunkt bei 165 mm jetzt soll der sechziger Motor rein und ich habe keine Ahnung wo ich den Schwerpunkt hinlegen soll...
der Schwerpunkt muss dahin wo er vorgegeben ist, sonst wir die Kiste nicht lange fliegen. Vielleicht kannst innen Akkus, Servos ect. weiter nach vorne bauen?! Rest musst mit Blei in der Motorhaube ausgleichen um auf den SP zu kommen
