For me 2013 was like peak high school, I was in junior year then. This album and especially the hits I always heard them being played whether it was people and their iPods or phones in general or the school itself during special events
And its not like I was super fond of that time, but indeed it was definitely a much simpler time. Now I have to worry about rent, maintaining a job, and whatever other bs life throws my way
Just before the release off Gta 5, those were the times driving around and bumping NWTS

I’d check out Majid Jordan if you love Hold on We’re Going Home. They are a duo from Toronto that Drake brought to his label and they make amazing music. Majid is the singer and Jordan is the phenomenal producer, they actually wrote and produced the song!

The production is so smooth and dreamy on NWTS. It feels like I'm floating on a cloud while listening to it. That's why I think the cover is perfect. This project is very great

Correct. IYRTITL might be the “better” album, but I’ve always preferred NWTS. Definitely my favorites by him.

This is his best project. The most concise project with no filler tracks. The album as a whole is a consistent mood. This when drake gets to the mountain top and looks around and sees no one there except for him. My favorite songs are in order: come thru, furthest thing, Tuscan leather

If you like Sampha's vocals on Too Much you should check out his solo work! Process is definitely worth checking imo. Loved the video as always

Drakes best work in my opinion. As he says in 'All Me', "and my latest shit is like a greatest hits'. One of goated albums.
This album is my favorite album of his cause how concise it is and then fact he was really telling his what his life was about at this particular time which many people can relate to
Sampha (the feature on Too Much) is great (even if he needs to release more music), his album Process is worth listening to, reaction or not.
I think this is drakes most experimental work. 305 to my city is one of my favorite instrumentals of all time, spacey, abstract blend of modern trap music & R&B
Maybe unpopular opinion but this my favorite Drake album of all time and his only classic. To me he peaked with this album and kind of went down hill after this as far as creativity with his music. Just my opinion. I loved Take Care but that was a super long and slow tempo-wise album. Listening to it in full can feel like a task. This album to me was a perfect blend of rapping and singing and kept a perfect tempo the whole time. I kind of wish Drake would take a 2 or 3 year break in between his albums from now on so he can spend enough time instead of it all sounding rushed and copy and pasted. Also this pound cake is perfect with a one of his best songs with Jay z. I like Jay's verse on Light up the best out of all the collabs they've had
U voiced my thoughts about drake to a T. Personally I like take care slightly more than nothing was the same even though it was a bit longer. I do agree that drake needs to take a break. I don’t think he’s lost the ability to make another amazing album but he’s just not giving himself the space he needs to do that

Complete facts. After hearing clb & remembering how the teaser referenced his old albums, i thought he would reinvent himself and make a classic album but it turned out to be very underwhelming. Drake needs to find a different sound that sounds familiar to casual fans & long time fans but also change how he structures his songs, its starting to get repetitive tbh.
He went downhill after IF YOUR READING THIS ITS TOO LATE.
305 was my skip for sooooooo long on this album too. Then one day I listened straight through and something with that song clicked. It was weird 😂

My favorite drake album. I had so many great memories being a kid and listening to songs from this album. I feel like this is drake at his peak imo and I love views and take care but nwts just hits different for me.

Gahhh I got chills from worst behavior cuz he honestly was dropping some of the COLDEST bars in that. And the production is just immaculate. It was like a perfect blend of like coffee and cream. Both complimented each other so perfectly.

NWTS is a great album. If you ever get a chance you should listen to "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" from him. Personally I feel that's his most cohesive project aside from his other well known projects. Definitely a great blend of both rapping ability and singing. Personal favorite I think you'll like is a song called "Jungle" Thanks for the great reaction Shelby❤️

Fun facts: There was suppose to be a Deluxe edition of this album where the album is in reverse From Pound Cake to Tuscan leather (Come Thru and All Me are Bonus tracks) That’s why the ending of Tuscan Leather kind of sounded like an Outro/farewell. But the plan fell through
305 to my city is agreed upon by many as the only Skip on this album so it’s funny to see you agree in real time
Also last year Drake himself said that NWTS is his personal favorite out of all his albums.

If you’re Reading this it’s too late (2015) - A mixtape and Drake’s first project that’s mainly rap focused. Fans debate between This, Take Care and NWTS as Drake’s best work
So Far Gone (2009)- Drake’s breakout Mixtape and his introduction to the mainstream. It’s a instant classic because of how groundbreaking it was and it’s interesting to see how Drake started to what he became today
Care Package(2019) - a collection of Songs that didn’t make his albums that leaked over the years. But don’t be fooled the songs are AMAZING and fans questioned why on earth these songs never made the cut.
