What is the the controller your using on your left? I like that drum pad your using I would like to buy that one you have. I use the AKAI XR20 to conduct my beats but it does not support sampling
Hi, sick beats, can you please explain to me how do you use the mpd and the apc please ? I'm planning on starting to make beats (I was strictly djing) and I don't know what to buy and I don't have a very big budget, so a few advices would be welcomed :) thanks
i just have one question on the little effect you used with the mpd how does that work i have the mpk25 and i been trying to figure in making my own effects forever like this
Checked this video out trying to see if you can use the apc40 & mpd32 simultaneously with ableton. Now that i see you can, I gotta figure out how, nonetheless dope video my dude
i currently have an apc40 controlling ableton live 7. I am thinking about getting the MPD32. How do the two controllers work together? And what software are you using and can i use both with ableton live 7?
Cool bro. I am a producer myself but I would love to work with you bro I am a christian MC also, I pray all goes well for you with your music bro. Grace and Peace!!
Not really. The APC40 doesn't have velocity sensitive pads. The apc40 is primarily used for launching clips in Ableton when performing live or recording. The APC is a fun piece of gear but i wouldn't recommend it for use as a drum machine. It can be done but it's not very intuitive and the results are mediocre at best.
Preemo doesn't have this kind of style. Let's say then it's kinda like between Pete Rock and J dilla. There's no DJ Premier style in it. Perhaps samples sound a bit like like Preemo.
Beautiful sample... Very dope beat.
Dope shit, good to see others using Ableton for hip hop
Yes! You just made 5 minutes of living better.
Still listening to this almost everyday.

Dude if you ever come out with an album of stuff like this I'd be jammin' to it everyday!
Thanks for the vibe. Put me in a positive place.

yeahh i know but like what do you use inside ableton to do it is it midi effects, vsts?
What is your opinion on the APC40? Can't you just use that instead of the MPD?
Cheers
Some yes. The hats, snare, and some of the kicks are quantized. Quantize is your friend. There is a way to use it and still sound natural.
you are the Best!
nice work my man, how do you get the effects like that when your using the sliders is it a vst? which one?
Still my favorite!

PumpkinH3ad They work well together, the only program i'm using is ableton. The MPD is very easy to map.

how much you want for a beat like this?
Dope!
crazy mad
Thanx, It's done in Ableton Live.
how is the APC for sampling hip hop/boom bap or lofi type beats
Pretty bad as it doesn't sample at all! It's for controlling Ableton - recording clips, panning, effects sends etc. :)
Naw, i work for a livin but I plan to start making more beats. I'm not working with any M.C.s at the moment.
Sick

you can hook up like 6 controllers at once in ableton... if you ever needed to do that probably not unless you have more arms than most people
Black thought.
