After reading many articles on "the best" hub to purchase, I decided on the WINK. Switches, outlets, plug-in modules provide a lot of flexibility, but I'd like to see other useful items that could be connected, like a "power outage" sensor that would indicate when there is a power outage in the area due to storms, etc., or sensor feedback from a plug (say for a refrigerator) has lost its power feed (could double for the first scenario). One the clinic could use is a temperature sensor for a refrigerator where a set point could be picked to indicate, for instance, a rise in temperature, say above 40 degrees, indicating a loss of refrigeration either due to a power outage or compressor failure in the refrigerator or freezer so vaccines would not be destroyed. I can see adding a couple of cameras and doorbell camera/audio to the hub, but my main camera system (AXIS) is already very powerful and has its own software and Android App (IP Cam Pro) that works very well as a stand alone. Another useful safety item would be a high amp plug for the cooking stove to make sure it is turned off, if you forgot to check it prior to leaving the home. Even if the technology changes, I don't see "upgrading" over what is already available (for my needs) in the future, especially if the above identified sensors become available in the future. Can't see the automation cutting the grass for me in my lifetime; cleaning off the moss on the North side of the house; trimming the bushes; and loading the clothes washer. So, the Samsung and WINK hubs probably cover most of what will become available in the near future as far as connection protocol compatibility.

Thanks. Is there somewhere that lists all the compatible products with WINK hub and are there more devices WINK hub 2 only?

    Thank you!
I am considering implementing a Wink system aboard our boat.
Can you advise regarding the amount of data transfer a Wink hub would use? I have a limited amount of data available on a stick that stays on the boat, so, I understand the data intensity of a camera while viewing, but how about the hub as it sits "idle" with nothing to report out and no outside commends coming into it?

can a smart two power outlet be controlled individually or as a tandem? When connecting one smart power outlet to a wall double outlet (traditional) the smart one take a lot of space and blocks the usage of one of the outlets I could replace the traditional double with a smart double outlet and control them separately.?
