it's definitely a grower, give it a few more listen, u'll found out how good this song actually is. first listen i was like "what was that? the chorus is a meh, and that's too short" but then it turned out to be "wow, this song arrangements is a pure genius" it makes you think it's short because it has no bridge but it's already a 3.30 minutes. a pure production genius.
I think Secret Number songs from the very beginning is good, but lack of complexity in the structure? Maybe because their songs more like oldies vibes? Many other songs recently have that complexity, like drop-antidrop, slow-fast tempo, unique sounds and instruments. But yeah maybe because the colour of Secret Number is a bit oldies. I'm actually upset because my ultimate bias doesn't participate in this comeback, but I'm surprised that they still sound so good. So many surprises in this song. Dita and Soodam rap?? Jinny's two full verse raps?? The two new members also sound good and fit the group. It's not the best mixing, but the song itself for me is the best Secret Number Song so far. I can immagine how the song sounds like with Denise powerful voice in it. And the B-side track as well! Jinny solo wrote the song. Let's support the new Secret Number. And also Denise whatever she's doing now.

Despite their repetitive part of the lyrics 'welcome to my world' i think they did pretty good. They are kpop group anyway so a bit mainstream isnt bad. But the highlight is the variation of their voice tone. It's like no other gg ever done. Of course if denise is coming back the diversity would be very very rich. To me this is a bit of an adjustment due to the absence of denise. All member got their lines. But jinny, dita and soodam stand out more than others. I think in every comeback they wanna do something else.. so whether this concept suits them well or not or maybe previous ones do better, it's all depends on our own personal taste..
