I just don't understand what people expect from a 6wk old puppy? Red & Orange both look like confident, happy, well adjusted babies ... I think people forget they are a mix of 2 breeds that are NOT low energy they are 2 sporting breedings meant for bird hunting. I always tell people if you are worried a pup is too hyper then buy a older pup or adult. Babies should have lots of energy they should be waggy and happy ... it always amazes that people want a laid back pup then go for a doodle mix. I don't think they research they see the color and how adorable they are and that's it they don't take into account they are a mix of 2 purebred dogs with their own specific characteristics. Your pups are very laid back yes - it's clear you work with them as should their new owners. Sorry just small rant from someone watching from the outside. Bless you for your patience!
I have a standard poodle. He was a year old when we bought him. 3 owners later. People need to research breeds and their needs before they buy a puppy. We have the best dog anyone could ever have and I feel like we saved him. I have had 8 standards. My brother has a golden doodle. High energy. , My daughter has a mini Noofie Poo. High energy. I know exactly what you are saying. We were going to get another poodle puppy and I saw him listed. Saved him from the previous owner. Some people should NOT have an animal.
Years ago my poodle had 3 babies...2 were happily adopted but the 3rd one while it was adopted, the lady called the next day complaining it had cried the whole night IN THE GARAGE where they had left the 6 week old baby all night by itself...we RAN to get it back and it was happily adopted by someone who was loving but NOT stupid!
Having a dog who wants attention from people is often a good thing when you’re training them too because it means they’re likely to respond better to praise. I swear half of these people are wanting a super shy anxious dog and that doesn’t mean they will be less maintenance at all
I'm not even picking puppies but I still feel that bitter-sweet feeling. They get good homes, but they have to say goodbye to their siblings and parents! I also feel bad for the last puppy. They are all alone (temporarily) and I just want to squeeze them with love!
I think it's better for the puppy for a family to be honest and not take her instead of her feeling rejected later. My heart goes out to this sweet puppy. ❤❤❤. I wish I could get one!!!
I waited for 18 months on my breeder's list and was fortunate to get first choice. I had already said that I would like a girl and I choose her at 8 hours old. It is impossible to suggest you can guarantee a puppy's character at a few week's old ..... An adult dog primarily comes from how you raise them! All of these look beautiful!!
Omgosh I just came across this video. I think all the puppies are super adorable & I was surprised to hear that someone refused ‘Orange’ - their choice of course but I think she’s a star! It is so lovely to see them in such a lovely environment & what a job you had trying to coordinate the new parents. Thank you so much for showing this process. ❤
A hyper pup, once trained you know what their temperament is. A mellow pup is unpredictable after training. Unpredictable meaning once they are comfortable their temperament has the potential to change either way. I always choose the active one. ALL are terrors if the owner doesn't put the effort to train them. They are all cute.
My doodle chose me. I had my eye on her sister....but ....she came to me and I picked her up and she wrapped her paws around neck and heart. She is 13 weeks old, a bundle of energy, stubborn, and smart. I wouldn't want her any other way.
I think Orange would be more attentive for training and the fact that she calmed down so well shows great training potential…you want the dog to pay attention to you when training not be every where else
Orange is beautiful she was just alittle excited when you first got her then she calmed down within 30 sec .. she like my girls super sweet and lovely I’m in uk 🇬🇧 gosh I would have her in a heartbeat 💓
Dave is so adorable!!! He is perched on that ottoman like a King!!! Blue was my first pick of the boys!!! I knew he would go first:) Love, love, love these babies!!! 🥰
Puppies go through phases and their behavior changes. Our wildest puppies grew to be calm adults. Our mellowest aloof puppy is now as adult coming to us for pets and cuddles.
This is the 1st video that I've seen of yours and those puppies are so cute. I'm not looking for a puppy but I'm going to watch all the time because they made me so happy. ❤️
I completely do not understand somebody passing up ANY puppy. I had first pick from a litter of seven myself and I had already asked the breeder to choose FOR me because I had worked with her before and honestly...if my new boy was going to be half as awesome as my last boy? That was perfect. I had one (now weird to me) consideration...I wanted a black one from the litter (my last boy was black and the boys were all born looking black). My breeder told me if she picked, the one I got would not be black--he would be silver. I thought about that and she had already picked one for me...and I thought...if I choose to take a different one, I'll always wonder about the life I would've had with the puppy who I passed by and I would always wonder what happened to him. I went with silver and didn't meet him until the day he was meant to come home. In the end, HER pick came home with me because I figured it was meant to be...and he might not look like his half brother, but he is my everything.
I am so confused by all these people only wanting a "calm " puppy. It is a puppy, they have lots of energy. What they should be looking for is overall personality/temperament towards other dogs and people. Some these people wanting a puppy that comes 100% trained and low maintenance don't sound ready for puppy. They should be looking for an adult dog. They should also keep in mind senior dogs generally have to go out more often, especially as they get up in age. If I was a breeder some these comments would be major red flags on the people taking my dogs, you have put so much time, care and resources into them.
I probably couldn't afford one of your puppies but they sound almost exactly what I'm looking for attentive confident happy and people oriented while also cool with other animals and social with the calm side and I mean plus they're gorgeous that's like extra way to go
Yay!!! So glad you kept her....How long until purple could possibly have a litter of puppies? It will take me that long to save up:) I would love to have one of her babies some day!!! 🥰
I have a question for your plants! The one on your right, (like your watch is on your left), in the white pot and her leaves cover parts of the picture of the dog, do you know the name of that plant? Cause I’ve got the same for 37 years and don’t know the name! Please, if you can get the name, cause I nurture her for all this years and love to get her what she needs and what’s best for her! Thank you✌🏻
You guys are awesome! And the pups are precious!!! We have a two year old rescue Heinz 57 adopted during the pandemic. She is a love bug. Next time we are ready to add another family doggo, I will contact you.
Such sweet babies! Puppy kisses are the best. My 1 year old poodle is a lover, who just loves giving kisses. I’ve been considering getting a second dog ever since bringing our boy Vader home. He’s just such an amazing dog, he’d do great with a puppy. I’ve always had poodles but these doodle mixes are such wonderful dogs. I might consider that breed for our next pup.
It means when you put a deposit on a pup. Is an agreement to purchase from the litter based on your order on the list when they are born. So if you were say 1 of 2 potential pup owner for 2 pups born. You are owner of pup. To back out. You broke contact, you lose deposit. Pup now has to be re-homed. Many people want 8wk old pups. Now breeder has to account for continued care costs until pup is homed.
ALL of your dogs are absolutely gorgeous. I don't know how you get rid of any of them! Honestly if it was me, I would have everyone one out of every liter in my home. I guess I would be called 'The Little Old Woman Who lived in a shoe." Had so many doodles she didn't know what to do'. lol
I had never heard of someone sending a puppy to training before getting them. I am in no way capable of getting a new baby. But, if I ever am lucky enough to get to “shop” I would consider also doing that because, I’m not good at training! Those babies are so precious! I’m only sexist about dogs. Lol. I like girl dogs because they don’t pee on walls! 😂
I find it so weird that people want a puppy ready made - having the puppy sent to a trainer before taking it… a puppy is a lot of work and training doesn’t stop after a few weeks. I would have taken Orange in a heartbeat! Puppies are high energy and they should be - if you don’t want that, don’t get a dog.
I just want to say you puppies are so cute In one of your videos you said that doxycycline made your male sterile. Is there information about this specific medication and how it affects male dogs Just curious
Hate to say it but... if they don't have time to train, they don't have time for a dog & if they want sedate, maybe you should suggest they purchase an older dog. Just saying... so many dogs are dumped for the stupidest & most selfish reasons! I am glad you are charging a good fee; weeds out bad people & shows they can afford to take them to the vet!
I just don't understand what people expect from a 6wk old puppy? Red & Orange both look like confident, happy, well adjusted babies ... Very true but doodles are very different from most dogs, more work but a better final outcome like many working dogs.
I have a standard poodle. He was a year old when we bought him. 3 owners later. People need to research breeds and their needs before they buy a puppy. We have the best dog anyone could ever have and I feel like we saved him. I have had 8 standards. My brother has a golden doodle. High energy. ,

People don't do enough research on all types of animals. It's sad.

Orange makes great eye contact. Looks to be an amazing pup. What a mistake not taking her.

Oh my! They are all darling…anyone rejecting one of these puppers is a whackadoodle 😂
Gorgeous puppies!

Orange is so cute, how could no one want her?! She's a puppy, she's going to be at least a little excited and happy!
Puppies are typically big energy but they do calm down when they are older. Great video ❤
My doodle chose me. I had my eye on her sister....but ....she came to me and I picked her up and she wrapped her paws around neck and heart. She is 13 weeks old, a bundle of energy, stubborn, and smart. I wouldn't want her any other way.
Miss Orange is so beautiful...how could anyone not want her?
I think Orange would be more attentive for training and the fact that she calmed down so well shows great training potential…you want the dog to pay attention to you when training not be every where else
Super cute puppies! Nice to see how happy and well socialized they are
Ugh, Orange stole my hearttttt 🧡 I could’ve never passed her on!
Orange is gorgeous! What a sweet puppy! I feel in love with her just watching her.

Orange is beautiful she was just alittle excited when you first got her then she calmed down within 30 sec .. she like my girls super sweet and lovely I’m in uk 🇬🇧 gosh I would have her in a heartbeat 💓
It's so heartbreaking that people wouldn't see miss Orange as the beautiful sweet girl she is!
These are the most adorable puppies omg!
All the puppies are beautiful and sweet! I'd take any of them! How can anybody say no??
Dave is so adorable!!! He is perched on that ottoman like a King!!! Blue was my first pick of the boys!!! I knew he would go first:) Love, love, love these babies!!! 🥰
Puppies go through phases and their behavior changes. Our wildest puppies grew to be calm adults. Our mellowest aloof puppy is now as adult coming to us for pets and cuddles.

My chocolate lab puppy was purple. She’s perfect for me. And she picked ME!

Beautiful
Who in all this wide world expect new born puppies to be calm? They need to reconsider puppy ownership! Beautiful litter.
Who wouldn’t want little orange she’s adorable! If they want to see a hyper puppy they should see my 10 week old husky and she’s chill for a husky. 🤣
I’d love one of these puppies! I wish I lived closer
Orange is gorgeous
Your dogs and puppies are gorgeous!
Can you explain more about the deposit being forfeited for a specific litter. Is this after a family has actually chosen a specific puppy?
It means when you put a deposit on a pup. Is an agreement to purchase from the litter based on your order on the list when they are born. So if you were say 1 of 2 potential pup owner for 2 pups born. You are owner of pup. To back out. You broke contact, you lose deposit. Pup now has to be re-homed. Many people want 8wk old pups.
