Painted my 360 - Gloss Black, before we put it together last spring. My Demon is that Hemi Orange so I thought it would make it stand out better. Wish I had done Satin Black !!! the Cuda is looking pretty wicked all black like that 👍 Thought I caught a glimpse of some Sawzall'd fenders in the backround !!!
Great video, satin black for sure, glad to see you have the drive shaft safety mount on it. seen a few wrecks bad in day because drive shaft coming out.keep it going man looking good
Always enjoy the Friday night DW vids👊 looks like your upgrades will make for a great race. i think that Mopar orange looks great on your block plus seems like black would maybe hide a leak
more progress Sir, its coming along in leaps and bounds..REALLY interested to see how those headers fit...Im in the market for some and want some clearance under the car... Chassis connectors will work a treat!! Nice work mate...As Duddie said...how in the hell did those unis survive that burnout...lol
D.W. were you able to get the EQ heads with the intake bolt angle for the La style intake or was that even a consideration. Also did the assembler change to bronze guides?
@@TheDodgeWhisperer I guess they stopped making the La intake option. Bronze on the exhaust guides is the way to go , don't ask me how i know. Ok you asked ,I stuck # 3 exh. Valve before i paid to convert to bronze.
When I bought the car 20 years ago the front sub frame was basically destroyed from rust. I cut it out and replaced it along with all the suspension components. Replaced the rotten quarter panels and "fixed" the passenger side rocker panel and heavily damaged A pillar on the passenger side. It actually could have the wheel alignment set properly after that. I installed the engine and then got busy with life/school/work/etc and never got around to finishing the car. all said and done the current amount of time invested in the car since day 1 is several thousand man hours, and $$$$$$$. I was persuaded by Duddie and Bad Tree to get it going again earlier this year!
Satin Black Engine!! How that rear u-joint ever survived those burnout is beyond me .
Good catch on left and right
Thanks for the follow up. I cant wait to hear it run! Regards from Ody Slim
Man you’re so close! That’s a weekend thrash away from going!

Where you a member of FABO back when you originally built that engine?
I probably was a member back then. I didnt build this motor though it is a Mopar crate engine
@@TheDodgeWhisperer It didn't seem to far off of a couple of popular builds i remember seeing all the time, is why I was curious.
Mopar Orange will pop nice in the all black car. I'm curious why you went EQ iron heads versus aluminum?
I just couldn't justify 1500$/head lol... maybe one day!
D.W. were you able to get the EQ heads with the intake bolt angle for the La style intake or was that even a consideration. Also did the assembler change to bronze guides?
yes bronze guides but only the magnum intake bolt pattern

Why did the car sit for 20 years?
