I totally agree. It's one that people can follow choreography, but it's a whole other thing that they feel each move, gesture or pose. A true dancer feels every movement and is able to pull the audience into what they are trying to evoke. When Jimin dances, you feel the emotions he's trying to convey. He's just beautiful inside and out.
Also, adding always his personal touch too, for example, the choreographer of Serendipity said how much of the hand movements and fluidity was added by Jimin himself and I feel that what makes him different, dancing is so important and personal to him.
I don't know if this is weird to say, but I feel like I can tell how emotionally intelligent Jimin is by the way he dances. Like whatever emotion he's supposed to portray in a piece, he conveys it so well. His moves are so graceful and fluid. Every now and then I watch him performing "Serendipity" and literally cry. The way he moves is always beautiful, but that piece is just different. Do we know who choreographed it? Because they made it absolutely perfect for him. It's not even a single dance style - it's got Korean traditional elements and martial arts in the mix too. Brilliant. If the Black Swan solos were a single dance, they might come close to this for me, but... he's expressing something that seems so true to who he is in this piece. It's such a balance of strength and grace. And unlike a lot of dance performances, I'm never waiting for the next good moment. I just stop breathing until it's over. 💜

Jimin puts so much heart and soul into his dance that its impossible not to get emotional, it's like a part of him that doesn't detach, the way every beat and every step flows so natural and means something, it's just beautiful - for a lack of words, my vocabulary is poor - to see and feel.

The clip that you talked about (when he was dressed in white and dancing to Butterfly in the factory) was actually a Puma ad that he did years ago. I fell in love with it when I saw it so I've watched it a few times! And that fan dance is why he has one more national award than the other guys. He was given the award for his cultural contribution because fan dance is traditionally performed by women. His reinterpreted dance showed the beauty of it and showed it to the world. Jimin is such a gorgeous and graceful dancer. His form is perfect. And no one spins like he does! He is always a joy to watch. I only wish that he performed contemporary more often. As Hobi said Jimin could get up and perform any piece right now because he keeps his skills up. We just don't get to see it much 😔

The clip that you talked about (when he was dressed in white and dancing to Butterfly in the factory) was actually a Puma ad that he did years ago. I fell in love with it when I saw it so I've watched it a few times!
And that fan dance is why he has one more national award than the other guys. He was given the award for his cultural contribution because fan dance is traditionally performed by women. His reinterpreted dance showed the beauty of it and showed it to the world.
Jimin is such a gorgeous and graceful dancer. His form is perfect. And no one spins like he does! He is always a joy to watch. I only wish that he performed contemporary more often. As Hobi said Jimin could get up and perform any piece right now because he keeps his skills up. We just don't get to see it much 😔
