I love this song and anime so much. It’s possibly my favorite song, I love it so much that I’ve gone through a years worth of work to be able to play this thing on my harmonica. Finding the key of the song, eventually finding who wrote it, which led me to finding sheet music, having it transcribed half a key off to make it more harmonica friendly, then learning how to play a completely different type of harmonica to better suit the flats and sharps in the song (went from a diatonic to a chromatic,) but I can play it now after such a long journey, such a beautiful song.

this anime is perfect.. the number of episode is enough... the story is perfect.. the vibe is PERFECT...... really... this one is a masterpiece.. i really love the dark vibe of the anime and this was a main inspiration of my novel called The Dead's Ritual (still on going)

This anime is a beautiful piece of writing. It was poetry to my eyes and ears. The sorrow of what happened to Yuko and later her happiness was a perfect characterisation personified. Wonderful soundtracks to go with it!
Watched in September 2020 for the first time and binged through the 12 episodes and it left a Huge impression on me! This ending theme in particular despite me hearing it for the first time gave me a sense of nostalgia. It's one of the few anime that's a 10/10 on my MyAnimeList.
I usually don't like and skip openings and endings of anime. But in Dusk Maiden, every musical composition is mesmerizing. Add to that the aesthetic art style, vivid colors, enchanting and lovely Yuuko, and you have an anime unlike any other.

True, but the difference is when the other Anime MC/FMC dies at the end they are gone for good which leave a tragic and very deppresing ending atleast this Anime leave a very satisfying ending, Yuuko is just a ghost from the beggining atleast she remain with MC untill the end, He can see her, hear and touch, that's no different from being alive and the Romance continues untill Teiichi dies and be with Yuuko in the afterlife.

I came back to listen to this after 6+ years after and all those memories just came back.. I remember I didn’t go to school for couple of days Because I was just really depressed because of the way she died all alone in that basement and it still makes me tear up thinking about it till this day 😔. Still surprised that this is underrated but I want it to stay like that, I just love this anime’s dark theme.

but it would be nice to see teichi and yuuko together in teichis house.. why in his house ? 1.yuuko already vanish and come back which means shes not imprisoned in the school anymore 2.She comeback because of her love in teichi.. which means shes not traped in the school anymore but in teichis heart instead .. So who dont want a 2nd season XD

While not speaking any japanese, this anime have one of the best soundtrack ever heard. Story is really good, soubdtrack is excellent, characters are average, main character is good, paintings was really good. For me its a sufficient to give this anime a 10 out of 10. Love it.

There's still the OVA nothing serious happens just the characters hanging out and some cute moments between Teiichi and Yuuko but it felt good not to be a crying mess while enjoying the characters

To be honest I like manga better than the anime and don't get me wrong the anime was good but I prefer the manga because they explained more about her past and there's more interesting characters in the manga and I will to see a director's cut or remake for this series become I like the manga better than the anime

I wasn't scared at all, because Yuuko and Teiichi were too cute together and I was too worried about Yuuko.
I was really scared of the Shadow Yuuko in the beginning. But Yuuko’s death was the saddest, darkest and most disturbing shit I’ve ever seen.
